“First off, I want to say I have no problem with both the food and the service. My question is to the rapid increase in pricing.

This is for the Fonthill McDonalds on HWY 20. Noticed a significant increase in pricing of a breakfast meal over the past month spoke to the manager and advised that the pricing was a promotion that is now over and the Owner's determine the pricing. With so much pressure on inflation and obviously the large spike in pricing since COVID in many products, was hoping to understand this one. I am not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I will share. May 17th, 2024 - Purchased a #3 Breakfast - Bacon Egg McMuffin Price $5.99 Before Tax and extra Hashbrown was $0.70. June 20th, 2024 - Same order Price was now $6.09 Before Tax and extra Hashbrown was $1.00. (Small Increase). today June 29th, 2024 - Same order Price now $7.49 Before Tax and extra Hashbrown was $1.00. Now I understand that business need to make a profit and even though these increases are very small on a single consumer, this is a 25% increase on the Breakfast Meal and a 47% increase on the Hashbrown. With our Bank of Canada trying to do everything in their power to bring down inflation, do you not feel that it should be everyone making a constructive effort to do so? I am not trying to pinpoint one business, but generalize. It just happens that I use this McDonalds to purchase for convenience to to also support locally. I am sure I am not the ONLY one that has noticed.“

I recently visited A&W at 806 Niagara Street with my friends, and we had a fantastic dining experience! We tried the Beyond Burger combo, and it was delicious—packed with flavor and a great plant-based option. The fries were crispy, and the root beer, as always, was refreshing. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, even though it was a busy time. Overall, it was a great spot to grab a meal with friends. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!“

“A&W has never let me down, it is the only fast food that I will go to, the breakfast is cooked to your specifications and brought to your table and the coffee is perfect. My favourite teen burger and in fact all the burgers are delicious.of course the root beer is so good I keep some cans in my fridge.“

I was picking up an online order late when there was a huge line in the drive through, I would have been late for work if I waited (My mistake, I know!) but they came outside to give me my food so I could try to get there on time and told me to have a great shift! “We had a lovely date dinner in this quaint, modern, family-friendly brewery. They were nearly fully reserved; unfortunately, the tables available were not appropriate. When I pointed out I could not sit in the sun or at a high top, they willingly made adjustments. Our hostess, waitress, bussers, and management were all attentive, kind, and generally lovely. The food was wonderful; from the appetizers we enjoyed were Warm Butter Pretzel - BRUSHED WITH BUTTER AND SALTED, PICKLES, GRAINY MUSTARD, HOUSE-BREWED BEER AND CHEESE QUESO SAUCE, and Lobster Dip - LOBSTER MEAT IN A CREAMY DIP, BUBBLY MOZZARELLA WITH WARM PITA. Our mains were Burgers and fries - CLASSIC – CHEDDAR, LETTUCE, ONION, PICKLE, GARLIC MAYO, as well as the Steak and frites - 10 OZ NY STRIPLOIN, COMPOUND BUTTER, GREMOLATA, SERVED WITH HOUSE-CUT FRIES. The meal was delicious. An excellent experience; my only tweak is I wish the fries had been fresher. The Bridgewater Brewery had such a great environment. Well worth the trip to Welland. We were also informed they had a dog-friendly patio at the rear, making this a must for a return visit for our family. The kitchens were impeccable. Bathroom was ADODA compliant. “Has been a long time staple in St Catharine's. Always good food and service.

I was meeting with coworkers and meeting for them first time in person. We had the table way over the time we should have and the waitress never batted an eye. She gracefully continued to serve us even though it was busy.

Today I went to dine in and I got a weird vibe from the man at the cash but still thought nothing of it…However, while waiting for the burgers, I noticed none of the staff were talking. It was uncomfortably silent. And then as we were eating, I was looking at the behaviour of the guy from the cash and it was odd to say the least. I’m not making assumptions but it did seem like he was on drugs. Weird experience, hope the other staff is okay.“

“aug 9. dinner at 630. will not return. 4 orders eat in . 4 different households. 3 of the meals were pretty bad. My 1 piece fish dinner with 2 scoops of mashed potatoes was cold. no butter....no tartar sauce...no cole slaw...no roll.....13.50. for what??. the fish was paper thin...overcooked and very very dry. had to ask for butter for potatoes that wouldn't even melt. 2nd meal ....hot turkey sandwich stone cold. 3rd meal roast beef dinner. cold and the beef looked like thin shoe leather. the 4th meal was the chicken solvaki..suppose to be on a pita...came on a bed of cold fries. so what we have here is 4 different households that won't be back. it's not the price ...its the quality . serving quality hot food should never be a challange. the fish and roast beef was so disgusting you should be ashamed it arrived on a plate and cold. I will not recommend and return“
