“We were on a winter get away for the night at the Marriott and not wanting to brave the cold after a swim came downstairs to Aqua Terra for dinner. The food was beyond expectations. Our server Tyson was the best...friendly and offering suggestions. The choices were difficult, we wanted to try everything. We settled on the duck and rib eye steak. Both delicious, cooked to perfection. Tyson surprised us with an appetizer of soft shell crab, could it get any better? The atmosphere is lovely, the winter view of the water, Harbour and ferry perfect.Thank you for making our special night... can't wait to return. Wendy“

“Hello, I love Muddy Waters restaurant, great food, great service, the one thing I don’t agree with is the wait staff grabbing the clean cutlery after they have been through the dishwasher by the blade of the knives/ tines of the forks/ bowl of the spoons instead of the handles after grabbing liquor bottles, bottles of hot sauce even cases of bottle water, it’s very unsanitary and gross, it’s not the first time I have seen this in this establishment. Cases of water, pop sit in the warehouse and the warehouses have mice and rats that leave dropping on the plastic coverings and then the staff touch clean cutlery…🤢“

“We celebrated my husbands birthday, dinner for two. We shared the full size kale ceasar salad with roasted chick peas and gluten free. The truffled chicken dinner and scallop, pork belly risotto were delicious. Their bartender makes great classic margaritas too. McKenzie our server was friendly and attentative to my gluten free needs. It always feels safe eating gluten free here. The chef plans to put their gluten free fish n chips back on the menu soon, they are delicious. Looking forward to that. Its so difficult to find gluten free fish n chips. We will be back.“

“I went to Bella last Wednesday for a retirement treat with a companion. My steak was over cooked and had to be returned for a retire. The second one was perfect but I was disappointed that we didn’t get to eat our meals together. Would have appreciated a gesture of customer service for the inconvenience but none was forthcoming, not even a complimentary coffee. All in all the food was great once prepared properly.“

“I stayed during the Christmas period and the hotel staff were very friendly. The location is very good; it only takes 2 minutes to walk to the Christmas light trolley station. My room faced the Harbour, and the view was very good.
The most thoughtful thing is that on Christmas Day, the 25th, many shops and restaurants are closed. The hotel has free snacks (including coffee, croissants, and sandwiches) for guests to enjoy for free. This arrangement is really awesome! ! member also has late check out, you can check out at 2pm 😁“

“I went today July 8th and our server Hailey was amazing! She was very kind and super speedy, even though she looked busy. She even brought a jug of water when we sat, which i always end up having to ask for. Food was good. I knocked off one star because the servers and bartender looked very busy and hustling around, I felt bad! poor things“

“Came to grizz for the mussel Tuesday! The white wine sauce was out of this world!! We got the mushroom Brie pizza, velvet shore, pineapple spice and lavender haze cocktails everything was incredible. Our server Laura brought the best vibes and service! I love grizz!“
