“Wonderful food. She even heated my teapot! Haddock was crisp and clean battered. Fries too. With a complimentary side of coleslaw. I added mushy peas and was not disappointed. ‘Classic Fish & Chips’ in the truest sense of the word! Wasn’t busy, end of night and Lady made time for pleasant conversation too ?“
“Tonight we celebrated my husband's 60th birthday at this amazing little goldmine of a restaurant. The atmosphere is super cozy, the owners are very down to earth, prices are phenomenal for the superior freshness and quality of cuisine that you are offered, and the all around experience was quite exceptional. This was our first time dining at Coast, and needless to say, it definitely won't be our last!!!! ❤️??“

“The food was delicious 10 out of 10. The portions are fairly large, one order of fish and chips with a side coleslaw was enough for the two of us. When we went the tables were tucked into a corner so we couldn't eat in however it's clearly supposed to be a take away place. Either way I'll be back with my adjusted expectations.“

“Had heard nothing but good things about this establishment, prior to the closing and being new to working in town dining options are very limited! Had come in solely on recommendations, stories of how good the fish and chips were here!
Called in and the lady on the phone was pleasant and told me what my order would consist of and how much, when I got there to pick it up! I was greeted by two super nice women, we conversed about the food and if they were gonna branch out into making other dishes here. Hopefully they do venture into the Jamaican cuisine, because this part of Halton/Halton hills is under-serviced in that regard.
The older Jamaican woman(assuming was the owner) was telling me about the work she puts into making the food, and honestly it’s reflected. This is as close to having fish and chips from a chippy in England you can get, and possibly better. Got the 15$ lunch special, two giant pieces of haddock, fries, tartar sauce, malt vinegar and coleslaw, and with a Ting …bonus points for having Ting drinks!
Food was great, slightly greasy but that’s what’s to be expected, quality was great, fresh fish, and fries!
Thank you :)“

“Hits the spot when you’re craving fries and don’t want to get fast food. I always pass by this cute yellow food truck whenever I drive home and vowed I would eat here. I wish I had eaten here sooner, the owner is lovely and seems to truly enjoy what she does. Happy to support local food places, definitely worth the drive.“

“Not amazing, but also not disappointed. The kids liked their crab rolls and after adding a bit more seasoning to the fries, they enjoyed those too. For the maki dinner, the spicy salmon tasted the best of the three. Owners are friendly, but they only take cash or debit. The fish was nice and light. It didn’t weigh me down like how I usually feel after eating battered fish. My wife only eats dynamites she wasn’t too impressed. It was just okay for her.“

“What a great Fish & Chips restaurant!
So clean, friendly staff, and the food was excellent! I ordered Halibut & Chips and they were perfect ?
I highly recommend this gem.
Next time I want to try the onion rings and funnel cakes.“

“Working construction in the neighborhood and discovered this place by chance. Friendly staff, recommended the lunch special, Haddock and chips, THE BEST fish n chips I've ever had. Like their name says, it was golden, also crispy, not soggy and didn't tast like it was soaked in oil. Who knows, I might just move to Georgetown now“
