“Hands down the best shawarma place in the city! I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time and don’t get shawarma from anywhere else. All the ingredients are super fresh including the meat, in comparison to other shawarma spots in the city. The staff are super friendly and carefully prepare the meals. “Do yourself a favor and go get delicious food, huge portions, for a reasonable price. The saj uses the right type of bread, which is so refreshing, and they stuff them. Also, they pack the platter veggies separately, which makes for optimal reheating capabilities because you will have leftovers! You also get the added benefit of supporting local, family owned businesses.“

“Came here because of the high reviews, after having my meal I must say this place is overrated.

Don't get me wrong it's locally owned and the people are friendly. But the shawarma itself is pretty average, the potatoes weren't that good at all, some pieces I had were still raw in the middle.

Service is a tad slow but that's fair.
Honestly it's just like your average local neighborhood shawarma spot and there's nothing wrong with that, but it's not a 5 star shawarma, not even close.“

“Our apologies to the lovely owner of this outstanding restaurant. We were visiting the city this week and were mistakenly led to believe that this was a Turkish restaurant! It wasn’t until after we considered the name, Jericho, and realized its owner is Palestinian. Our apologies, Omar! The food was perfect and served with such care and love. “Sometimes you forget to put up a review because you get very busy but I am aware that they do help small business so this is mine. We have lived on Arch st. since 2009 and are going to move in the spring this restaurant has been our go to as long as we've been here the food is always amazingly fresh the portions crazy big when ordering the family meals we always had enough left overs to enjoy the next day. I will very much miss being down the street. I'm sure even though I won't be as close I will sneak back from time to time.
