“On a recent trip to Ottawa I tried to visit as many different shawarma and falafel restaurants as I could. This place was far and away the best falafel I had. In fact it was one of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world! The shawarma was also excellent. And though the place is tiny and not fancy, I recommend eating there for maximum crispy deliciousness.“

I'm new to Ottawa and my shawarma standards are high because my hometown has amazing shawarma that no other spots have come close to and I've tried many places already in Ottawa. “We are a group who booked for the all you can eat buffet to celebrate a friend's birthday. The variety and quality of the dishes was amazing, good value. They even brought a plate of freshly made stuffed vine leaves to the table, still piping hot. (My only quibble: a few of the dishes were just warm/tepid/cool. Not easy to keep everything at the right temperature with a buffet.) There was something for everyone, whether you are a vegetarian or a meat or fish eater. My particular favourite: stuffed courgettes/zucchini - delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Convenient parking out front. We will be back.“

“This is a gem of a small Shawarma place tucked away in a little residential plaza in Urbandale with other great food options.
We had the Chicken Platter to go
(Big Portion, enough for 2)
The chicken was cut right off the spit and delicious, tender and cooked right.
Salad was FRESH CUT (firm as it should be) and with LOTS of peppers in all colours 👍
We asked for rice only for carbs.
The pink turnips were delicious and not bitter and the hummus was fresh and tasty 😋
This is our 3rd time here and we’ll be back for more.
My tummy is still happy 😊 hours later which says a lot for a good take-out place.“

“I have had a chaotic year, and Shawarma Prince has been the absolute life saver to eat healthy. As a type 1 diabetic, the food here is healthy, low carb and really yummy! “I visited this restaurant about a year ago and came back today. The food has improved so much!
The falafel was incredible, and the fava beans were delicious and beautifully presented. The presentation was like a piece of art — you can really see the passion behind the food.
Last year I paid around $40 for a similar meal, so I was surprised that today it was only $28. Amazing quality, great taste, beautiful presentation, and a very reasonable price.
Absolutely delicious and highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back!“
