“Nice weekend brunch spot in Guelph, in such a bright and welcoming space. The Tofu Rancheros was delicious and hearty, and the relaxing atmosphere means you can stay a while and catch up with old friends while drinking a bit too much coffee! If you're worried about it being busy, they do take reservations by phone.“

“I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Kirtada Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their customer service truly stands out—every interaction felt genuine, and they made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit.

We opted for the buffet, and it was truly amazing. The spread had great variety, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. One thing that really impressed me was how my child requested garlic naan (which wasn’t even on the menu), and the staff prepared it immediately without any hesitation. That level of care and hospitality is rare and truly appreciated.

The ambience was beautiful—calm, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect place to enjoy a relaxed meal with family.

Overall, Kirtada Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a fantastic buffet with exceptional hospitality, this is definitely the place to visit. We will surely be coming back!“

We stopped in for lunch and the beef burger was so good it made me sad that I don't live here! Don't get me started the Chicken Souvlaki.. 🤤
The waitress that looked after us was the best.
Would love to of taken some pictures of what we ordered but my belly was thinking faster than my brain.
Almost the whole menu is made in house (salad dressing included) and you can tell.
This place will forever be my go to when we are in Guelph!“

“We arrived for 5:15pm for our dinner reservation. It was our first time here. We were checked in very quickly. Our hostes was lovely and excited to hear we were there for the first time. Our server was Emily (I hope I got her name right). She was great at explaining the menu and giving recommendations. We really liked that she didn't rush us and made it a very comfortable experience. Appetizer we had the mushroom toast, it was a good portion for two people. Drinks, my husband has beer and I tried the Berries in Bloom and Quebec 37, I enjoyed the Quebec 37 more. For mains I had the potato thin crust pizza and my husband had braised beef cheeks. Both were good portions and delicious. For dessert we had chocolate torte, tasted good but was the smallest dessert we probably ever had at a restaurant. We wish the portion was bigger. After dinner we went to the bookstore next door and picked up some games.“

“I've been eating here for years. They never disappoint. The staff are kind and helpful. Service is fast. The menu is extensive. Everything is very reasonably priced and high quality. They have the best bun dishes in town. Portion sizes are generous. I often have leftovers to take home. I especially like their fresh spring rolls. They sell green tea in a mason jar which you can refill on your next visit. It's a really nice green tea. I think Pho Saigon is one of Guelph's gems.“

They are very accommodating if you have special requests they are happy to do their best. Love the coconut chicken and the Gandi’s Revenge but everything is terrific. Thank you for not changing to copy other Indian restaurants. Flavourful food good value great staff. Doesn’t get much better.“

“Personally welcomed by congenital host who made recommendations for ordering. Host checked in two or three times to inquire how we were managing. The item ordered - whose name I forget - was excellent! Preparation, presentation, freshness, broth flavour and overall quality and quantity were all excellent. So superior to a burger and fries! Restaurant atmosphere a bit basic given the price - $48 for two, including tip. A hidden gem! This will be a regular.“

“I absolutely LOVE this store, not only do they have everything that a regular convenience store would have, but what makes them special from others is they sell amazing samosas, spring rolls, and pizza. I haven’t tried their pizza just yet but if it’s anything close to how delicious their spring rolls and samosas are then I bet it’s delicious!“

“went to this establishment with my wife while I played in a league. I ordered my drinks, of course using my manners. After both of us ordering drink as well as many others, I had received my drink and many others, while my wife's drink had not. I went up to politely ask about my wife's drink taking so long. They said it was coming. Then right after that I was confronted by a different waitress stating that I was rude, literally signaling me in front of a crowd saying that I was rude. Neither of us have been to this establishment before and within 20 minutes were told we were being rude. I did not realize that using manners and asking for my drink was being rude. Even all the other patrons could not understand what I had done. I found this to be VERY offensive to both me and my wife. Don't judge people by how others act, especially for a patrons first visit. Maybe finding some nicer staff would be nice, maybe someone to appreciate the customers that come in to your establishment, there are many other places to spend my hard earned money because obviously they don't want it.“

“I really like this place. The food is fresh and it's gotten me out of many later night scrapes by being open so late when I've just needed to eat something while out running errands. It's pretty quiet there and the food is good.
I usually order a la carte, but I recently went for a celebratory all you can eat dinner on a Sunday night. The price was $44 on December 2025. I wanted to note that for anyone looking for the price as I couldn't find it anywhere online.
I'm definitely going back for my a la carte menu options. They're great and typically all I can eat 😊“
