“This restaurant is a bag of mixed emotions. It looks okay on the main door, in door isn’t bad . It’s small but carries this cozy vibe. Suitable more for students, I’d say. The food looks okay too but the taste…the taste is another issue. It doesn’t match the look. It tastes like Chinese food. Let me explain…I think they don’t use the Korean ingredients to make traditional Korean dishes, but instead just use any generic soya sauce and spice to make these original dishes. Fried dumplings are kinda hard & oily. Service is okay. I’d suggest owl of minerva restaurant if you wanna try Korean dishes. Pricing is fair.

“Charred has incredibly tender and flavourful Portuguese-style chicken. I’m quite partial to their large salads as a side, but their potatoes are great, too. The service is always fast and the servers are very helpful and friendly. For those who like hot spice, I recommend the “very spicy” Piri Piri sauce. Charred is my go-to spot for chicken in Hamilton.“
