“I came for breakfast and got The Big Bird with scrambled eggs, sourdough toast, and extra turkey bacon. The portion was generous and everything came out hot and fresh. The fried chicken thigh was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and the maple syrup with the house hot sauce worked perfectly together. The sourdough was toasted just right, and the turkey bacon was a great option to have. Service was friendly. Overall, a nice breakfast spot.“

“Steve's is a local place we've been going to for brunch for years. It may not be as fancy as a lot of places but you won't find a warmer welcome, more terrific staff (Brenda and Lorena are a delight) and reliable, delicious food for breakfast, brunch or lunch. We LOVE this place!“

“My wife and I have been eating here since moving to Ancaster 4 years ago. After trying the big name restaurants on Golf Links and being not too impressed someone suggested West End Diner. We were thrilled with everything the first time and every time since. We go several times a month, for breakfast or dinner.
The quality of the food is amazing, the menu has something for everyone and staff are always there to make adjustments if requested. The servings are ENORMOUS!! We constantly have doggie bags!! And the price is very reasonable.
The staff are always friendly and helpful and add to the dinning experience.

“So, I love diners, and wimpy's is that in spades. The service was fantastic, the food was great, my poutine came a little cold, but a minute with chef Mike fixed that right up.

Serena, the waitress, was also fantastic, very attentive and polite.

I miss the table-side jukebox controller, and the freemium YouTube music was a little weird as opposed to just tuning a radio to a classic oldies station.

“Great food, great service and reasonable pricing. They have a special menu for seniors with reduced pricing, but the same great food and service. Everything tastes like home cooking; hot and tasty. Breakfasts are served all day and are especially delicious. Try their fish and chips (on special 2 days a week) and I found it better than Hutch's on the beach. I would highly recommend Wimpy's!“

“I was pleasantly surprised by this diner. From the outside it appears to be very small when in fact it’s a good size inside. Food options were very good, great selection. Delicious and large plate, I’ll be back. I had the ham crepe which came with 2 crepes, eggs, shaved ham, swiss, homefries and 1 bottle of Wimpy's Maple Syrup. It was fabulous. The waitress was very attentive and patient with an elderly customer that accompanied me.“
