“So my gf and I visited Country Cottage for the first time last night as we were celebrating 30 yrs together and we heard a lot about this place and decided to try it.When we got there we did have to wait a few minutes to be seated as they were busy and the waitress wanted to sit us at a clean table- not a bad thing!I got turkey soup and than chicken and biscuit dinner and my gf got the Rubin and fries dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic! My gf said it was the best Rubin she had had and my soup and dinner was so good!Thank You Country Cottage for making our 30 yr anniversary dinner not only special but so good!“
“Fantastic little "greasy spoon" diner. Only have been here for breakfast and it's outstanding! The waitresses are all very nice and are quick to fill up a coffee cup. The place just got renovated and looks better than ever! Give this place a try and you won't regret it.“
“The server wasn't nice to me. So what. The server isn't cussing you out either. The food is good and cheap. Kissing your ass isn't on the menu. If it were you'll probably pay premium prices. Bottom line, fast, cheap and good food.“
“Hands down, my favorite Breakfast Diner in Buffalo. Must try.. the Corned beef hash or the Rooster omelette. Also the Chicken and waffles with the savory sweet maple syrup is the best I've ever had. My daughter loves the grilled banana bread and over easy eggs which are always cooked to perfection! They are busy on the weekends but definitely worth the wait!!! You'll never have a bad meal here. The costumer service is top notch, they'll treat you like family.“
“In town from Chicago for a hockey tourney. Stopped in for breakfast. Staff was very friendly. Menu is thorough. Met the owner. Solid down to earth guy. Food was ordered, made quickly, and tasted delicious. Totally recommended if you’re hungry and looking for a classic diner.“
“Great food and generous portions! My husband and mom loved their fish fries. I had the meatloaf bomber. My chocolate peanut butter milkshake was very yummy! My mom also loved her macaroni and cheese. Very nostalgic setting. Amazing waitress! Great time!“
“I typically frequent the delaware location. Tonight i decided to go to this location instead! This location immediately impressed me. The atmosphere was comfortingand welcoming. Our waitress was timely & considerate of our menu selections. jessica made us feel like a member of the denny’s family. she gave use options regarding our hash browns id never been offered before from other locations. It was warm and cozy inside! extremely comfortable. the food has just been amazing. fresh and hot. some of the best pancakes to ever bless my palate. thank you dennys for opening my third eye tonight.“
“Sat down for a lumberjack slam and had plenty to eat at a fair price. Had my fill and scrambled eggs weren't wet, greasy or rubbery like at other places, instead were right on point, easy to handle, cooked until fluffy and at a decent serving size. There was a reflection of the sun right in our eyes off a car that parked right at the time of the day the sun would be in just that one spot right above it, and the waitress and fellow patrons sitting by the window were awesome and lowered the blinds so we could eat comfortably.“
“Small, old time diner with wonderful homemade soup, fresh sandwich fixings that can be served on lettuce with fresh sliced tomato wedges as well as on bread. Owner and patrons very friendly & welcoming....like having lunch with family. Mostly counter seating with a couple small tables at the end. Closes from 2:30-3:30 and reopens till 7.Parking: Might have to walk from up/down the street at busy times.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Building is old and has step up to enter. There are handhold for people who have difficulty walking.Dietary restrictions: Aware of gf restrictions and usually has a good soup. Willing to serve sandwich fillings on plate.“
