“A Hamilton Landmark that I've been in and out of for the past 3 decades, now being run by a wonderful couple whom you can really tell enjoy being pub owners and it's that enthusiasm that spills forth and it shows in their greetings and interactions with their customers whom are warmly welcomed & served under their watchful eyes and treat their loyal regulars like family. The menu carries Pub favorites such as Chicken Wings and Fresh-Cut Fries which are done flawlessly here ( My favorites are the Dusted Wings tossed in Medium Jerk Sauce with Fresh-Cut Poutine Fries and a Frosty Pint of Strongbow Cider). In Historic Hess Village just blocks from the city core,The Gown and Gavel sports one of the most Dynamic Licensed Patio's in Hamilton which has Always been The "It' Spot!! Cheers!!“

“Hosted a company function here during Christmas, these guys were stellar. The room we got was spacious and the food was great! We were able to search pretty much any song we wanted with their youtube feature. Would love to come back again with a couple of my buds. Thanks for hosting us!“
