Came with raita and chick pea curry. Both very good. Chick peas were definitely on the spicier side for me but very fresh and tasty. It’s just of to the side of an Asian grocer, so not much for ambiance, but the staff were super friendly and obviously took pride in the food they were making.“

Crispy layers, soft inside, and a nicely balanced filling — not too spicy, not too bland. Just the right kind of comfort snack you’d want with a cup of chai.

“edit thank you for your thoughtful reply. i have amended your review score to reflect that i am genuinely appreciative of your efforts to accommodate my dietary needs. contrary to popular opinion vegans are like anyone else. we dont like wasting the staff's time and if we dont like what they see they will go somewhere else. as someone who has spent hours online trying to find the best plant based curry in hamilton i guarantee that making vegan options more visible online and on your menu more business your way will come.

i must make it clear i was never critical of the staff member taking the order. they were excellent.

“Our first visit here was beyond amazing!! The food was incredible the owners and staff, very friendly and happy to explain it suggest various dishes, sauces and desserts from the menu. The Butter Chicken and Daal Makhani was incredible. Their Naan bread with some of the best we ever had and was made to order in front of us. We loved the samosas so much we brought 1/2 dozen home. Even though it’s an hour and a half drive for us we can’t wait to go back!!“

It got quite busy after we arrived, but our sever kept her cool and was very polite and kind. My favourite Indian restaurant in the city for over 20 years.“
