Can be good and sometimes not so good mainly due to the cooking of the pork but the Lanzhou beef soup is always great. It has been closed for a few months now and cannot understand why as the notice on the window is not in English.
So this was a place we happen to stumble upon and we couldn't resist the smell coming from the restaurant!! I had the beef brisket Noodle soup and as you can see, it's a beauteous thing! The beef was incredibly tender and the soup was a nice standard base. I must say that the beef didn't taste "fresh" and I say this because beef has a particular taste when it's been oxidised and I could taste it in certain pieces. Nevertheless, this will not be the last time we come here.

The environment and service are both satisfactory, but the beef in the noodles doesn't taste very good, and the noodle soup lacks flavor. If you are looking for a restaurant that can represent the flavor of Chinese noodle soup, this is not your choice. Neither the food they make nor the way it looks is amazing, and even mediocrity may be overrated.
