“Kudos to the Manager on duty on July 13th. I ordered from Uber Eats and there was an error with my order. The Uber Eats menu had the wrong description for the item I ordered and therefore I received something I wasn’t expecting. I called the restaurant and the Manager took the time to figure out what happened and offered to replace my meal even though it was not an error on their end. This is excellent customer service. The food was great regardless of the change. Thank you Hampton Bar and Grill 🙏🏻“

“Head and shoulders above the alternative. Excellent restaurant, the fish and chips was amazing, taste and texture and presentation was excellent. $135 for 4 adults (soft drinks). Our waiter was perfectly attentive. Clientele were happy and friendly. Will definitely go back. Washrooms spotless, family/single washroom.“

Wait times are always crazy for the food which tells me they need to streamline their kitchen process in some way,

Service is friendly, when you can catch them, they spend more time in the back than the front often times even if they have a lobby of people waiting.

If this restaurant could fix up their back end process they could easily be rolling in the extra profits“

“Harvey’s is the same. Not the best burger in town but better than Macdonald’s or Burger King. Good selection. And the staff are reasonably trained to understand English just speak slowly and let them repeat your order two or three times.
All in all not a bad place just a normal fast food burger place with a novelty menu.

“I have been coming here with my family for a while now and I must say, it’s always a pleasure. One of the last true places where you can eat a good meal for a reasonable price, while the staff and owner are friendly and down to earth. Highly recommend. Not many places left in Bowmanville where you feel like they aren’t just after your money.“

“We were driving from Toronto to Montreal and decided to stop for breakfast in Oshawa after reading the reviews. The place looked inviting, so we gave it a try.
I wasn’t in the mood for eggs that morning, so I ordered the homemade beef soup and a small Greek salad, both fresh, flavorful, and comforting, like something made at home.
And I just can’t skip mentioning the bathrooms....the sighn on the wall just reminded me how gorgeous i am 😁😁😁....Spotless, warm, and surprisingly charming.… and of course, I couldn’t resist commenting)))

A few hours later, already near Quebec, we suddenly realized we’d left our laptop behind. When we called Brigitte, the lovely owner answered right away even though the restaurant was closed. She was calm, kind, and reassuring, promising our laptop was safe and sound))))
We had to drive back, but honestly, her warmth and care made it feel less like a hassle and more like part of the adventure. Thank you, Brigitte, for the great food, kindness, and the kind of hospitality you rarely find these days.“

“Harvey's Charbroiled burgers are among my all-time favourites..
I really like the idea of adding one's own preferred toppings rather than some other's Restaraunt's that make them in a predetermined fashion.
It's great to have a choice..

Harvey's is alway's fresh and always delicious...
Personally, I do recommend Harvey's because of that smokey, backyard Bar-B-Que , Charbroiled flavour of their burger's..
When you don't have a Bar-B-Que, or, a backyard to have one in,
Harvey's remain's the best and, perhap's, the only alternative remedy to that..

As well as the great food, the Dining area is alway's clean with ample, window-view seating..

“My second time at a Stacked restaurant was in Sudbury - went in for a quick lunch, it was super busy but I didn’t wait long. The wrap was delicious, my server Marlee was super attentive and helpful in making suggestions. I noted her interaction with other customers and she was very good.“

“Me and my wife live in town and have our burgers regularly at A&W Bowmanville. This store is always kept impeccably clean, staff is courteous with ultimate effort to provide quality service. This store is by far the best kept A&W in the whole region. Jatinder, the manager goes the extra mile to keep clients satisfied with the quality of service and often asks our feedback on how their performance was. He is a unique and hand on manager, setting an example to his staff and makes a great name for this store. We couldn't as for a better service and we I'll remain a loyal customer as long as it takes.

“A&W is always worth the extra cost. The staff were friendly and quick, welcoming customers and taking orders (unlike other fast food places that ignore dine-in customers). The food came out quickly, with the staff bringing the tray to your table. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The food was good. All of the things you would expect from an A&W location.“

“This is bit of a late review, however it’s one that is definitely deserved. I had placed a cake order with this Dairy Queen location located on Courtice and I can say with absolute confidence that you will like their team. The communication was excellent, the staff had every detail down correctly, and they went above and beyond to ensure that the quality I was being served with was at its absolute highest. The cake turned out fantastic as well, the team once again, did an excellent job of communicating effectively and making sure all the tiny details were also passed along.

One person I have to highlight throughout my experience in all this is Akash. Very friendly, responsive, respectful, and enthusiastic staff member. He made sure all my worries were taken care of, and if I had any additional questions/worries, he did all the best he could to address them as soon as possible. Even when picking up my order, I had my two younger siblings with me, and as a kind gesture, he had given us free ice cream sandwiches as well! Definitely made my siblings happy, and it most definitely made me happy as well. Huge shout out to Akash once again, and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves for being a kind soul.

I used to be a regular at the Simcoe & Beatrice location, however moving forward for all my sweet cravings, I definitely will be making myself a regular at this Courtice location.

“Cheap place to go for an evening out. The food is decent and inexpensive. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is okay. It's tiny, but they have live bands (some good, some not so good). We keep going back, so I guess that says it all.“
