“Kudos to the Manager on duty on July 13th. I ordered from Uber Eats and there was an error with my order. The Uber Eats menu had the wrong description for the item I ordered and therefore I received something I wasn’t expecting. I called the restaurant and the Manager took the time to figure out what happened and offered to replace my meal even though it was not an error on their end. This is excellent customer service. The food was great regardless of the change. Thank you Hampton Bar and Grill 🙏🏻“

“Head and shoulders above the alternative. Excellent restaurant, the fish and chips was amazing, taste and texture and presentation was excellent. $135 for 4 adults (soft drinks). Our waiter was perfectly attentive. Clientele were happy and friendly. Will definitely go back. Washrooms spotless, family/single washroom.“

“We were visiting from the small town of Perth and decided to give Sunset Griddle a try. Whenever we travel, we love seeking out locally owned restaurants instead of the big franchise chains, and we’re so glad we stopped here.

Tammy, our server, was an absolute delight! Her infectious personality, great sense of humour, and positive energy made our visit even more enjoyable. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

We ordered the all-day breakfast, which included three eggs, four sausages, toast, and home fries. Everything was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned.

“First time going to this Harvey’s and let me tell you, it’s been about 5 years since I’ve been to one and it did not disappoint. Had two bacon and ketchup hot dogs and saved the other fries for my dad. The people there were really nice to give me a bag to go but on top of that they added napkins in there and I didn’t think of that so fantastic above and beyond service here. If you’re looking for a Canadian classic place to eat, this is definitely a stop you should consider. Also love smelling the grilled burgers in there, yum!“

“I’ve been to this location a couple of times and it has always been a positive experience. The food is consistently fresh and well prepared. The service is fast and the environment is clean and welcoming.

I also want to mention Gulwara, who was very friendly and attentive. She made sure everything was done properly and was really nice to deal with.

“We are in town for a robotic competition which ended pretty late on a Saturday, so there are not many dining options left, luckily we found the Rumour Mill from Google map which opens late.

Live music is on Fri & Sat after 9 and the vibe is great. Lots of locals seem to know the spot and come here for the show.

“Me and my wife live in town and have our burgers regularly at A&W Bowmanville. This store is always kept impeccably clean, staff is courteous with ultimate effort to provide quality service. This store is by far the best kept A&W in the whole region. Jatinder, the manager goes the extra mile to keep clients satisfied with the quality of service and often asks our feedback on how their performance was. He is a unique and hand on manager, setting an example to his staff and makes a great name for this store. We couldn't as for a better service and we I'll remain a loyal customer as long as it takes.

“We come here often to hear musicians. I've never expected much from bar food but Nookies beats expectations. I've had many dishes here all have been good. I recently thought I would compare dish to dish. I was in a named Italian restaurant in Toronto and ordered their butternut squash pasta. I felt Nookies was much better. You just never know, Nookies is good food at a good price point.“

“I love Hanc's Fries. Long time staple of my old home town for probably 50 years of changes of venue and chip trucks/trailer but they have always been the best fries around to be found though mine are pretty awesome too. The Hanc's were a few doors down from my growing up and I'm proud of having been a tiny part of the history of these historically well known and appreciated fries and family now there's more great food available and not just their awesome fries. Go check them out if your looking for a French fry truck while out travelling or don't feel like cooking, you won't be disappointed.“
