Bubble Tea near Kanata

“Have tried a ton of bubble tea places but Gong Cha is the one I consistently return to. Tons of fruit tea options, and I like the option of kanten jelly instead of regular pearls or coconut jelly. Milk teas are really good too, just wish they had cheese foam instead of milk foam which is more akin to a marshmallow type foam. Their brown sugar milk tea has a really nice caramelized flavour that I've only tasted before at Tiger Sugar. Overall my favourite bubble tea place, highly recommend mango milk tea, peach oolong, brown sugar pearl milk tea. Oat milk drinks also available which is nice to see“

“FYI if any of you reading the reviews are confused as to why Presotea and Green Leaf are in the same location, it's because they went through a name change.The actual review: This is **QUALITY** bubble tea. I've never been to a lot of bubble tea stores, but this is one of the best in Kanata/Ottawa. The tapioca pearls are so fresh and chewy. The drinks (I usually order milk teas but they also sell slush and fruity teas) are so sweet and tasty.If you ever do come to Green Leaf, it's still undergoing changes because of the name change, but don't knock it until you try it.“

“In the last few years, ownership of the Centrepointe Cafe and Deli has changed from the Italian twin brothers to an Asian couple, which explains Shake Shake Fresh Tea now co-located in the same space :)I had to order bubble tea with my deli wrap! Couldn't pass up the opportunity. (See my separate review for the wrap on the Centrepointe Cafe & Deli business page.)They only have small and regular sizes, 500ml and 700ml, respectively. I ordered a regular roasted oolong milk tea with lite sugar (30%, least next to none), less ice (50%, least next to none), tapioca (extra $0.50), grass jelly (extra $0.50), and cheese foam (extra $1.50). The cheese foam was pricier than I would normally pay, especially for a regular size, but I decided to splurge anyway. Wish I tasted it more, though. The tapioca was perfect, still a little firm with a bit of bite. The grass jelly had a bit of a strange aftertaste. Not sure how to describe it, but it didn't bother me enough to stop eating it haha. I thought the amount of tapioca and grass jelly they gave was pretty generous. Wish I could've chosen less ice to balance it out, since I always end up with more stuff and less tea, but overall, it hit the spot.The owners are super sweet, friendly, polite, and speedy. Service is great. They're also currently masking up, which is awesome, especially when preparing and serving food.Love being able to get a deli sandwich and bubble tea at the same time. Winning combo for me!“

“I came with a group of friends on a Friday evening. The girl working was extremely sweet and even put in effort to make our drinks look pretty for photos. 10/10 she deserves a raise. Look how cute she made my Crème Brûlée Strawberry Latte!! It was delicious and made with great care! I definitely will come back to this phenomenal service.“
