“A surprising, last-minute find close to our hotel. Several interesting plub style choices on the menu and good choice of beers, canned or on tap. We enjoyed our choices, chicken burger and Barley Mow burger. Only negative point was the noise caused by a loud speaking server and a customer at a nearby table.“

“We had a group of 11 so we were charged a 20% auto gratuity. The service we received was not worth 20% gratuity! We were waiting to order our meals while our waitress was behind the bar socializing with 2 others. A member of our group waived a couple of times at the waitress and she finally came to take our orders. The automatic charge of 20% is the price after tax which is actually a 22.6% above the price of the meals. I take objection to having a 20% "gratuity", This becomes a "compulsary " surcharge and the service we received was certainly not representative of the charge!“

“A hidden gem of the western edge of the Ottawa area. The ambience is unmatched, with plush armchairs, fireplaces, and bookshelves loaded with old books. The menu takes inspiration from Korean cuisine and sets new expectations for how good fries can be. Don't skip this place, even if the hike down Falldown is a bit much.“

“I like taking my daughter to the Barley Mow (stittsville is our go to but almonte is a favorite drive)... We went tonight. Dinner for 2 plus 2 non alcoholic drinks (I was driving us) came to $44 taxes in. We go there all the time so I gave a nice tip. The owner/manager and staff are amazing. And the new menu *(after covid limited menu) is really fantastic. We are trying something new every time. Tonight I tried chicken tacos and she had a huge bowl of poutine. Both were amazing. Deffo recommended! (Unfortunately I couldn't get a pic of the dishes, my phone was near dead and I needed it to pay as I forgot my purse but they then charged my phone for me!!)“

“Excellent service, super friendly staff, great food and drinks. Perfect spot for a night out in Barrhaven.Idk what they're doing to the Edamame, but it's better than any I had in 2 trips to Japan. Still the best spot in Barrhaven.“

“We had this restaurant on the list for years and tonight we finally enjoyed the sharing plates dinner menu. The foccacia and pomme aligot were to die for, both had elements of traditional and unique. Everything was extremely fresh. We felt like we ate quite a bit and didn't feel stuffed on the way out, excellent quality food for the price. Cardamom cake was light and full flavoured.“
