“so long story short the best meatpie in all of canada the beef pie and the cheese one really blew my mind. i got the spicy meat pie and wow the meat had so much flavour and the seasoning was great even the smell made my mouth water. and the customer service is a 10/10 no question. they were all so nice and the ambiance was top notch. felt very homey 10/10 would come again“

Tried it with some tebhuli (spelling?) for the first time & loved it. These guys really know how to make a meal!! 10 out of 10!!! See you again soon!“

“The three of us all had a different meal and all three were amazing. Best food I’ve had in a long time. The club sandwich and poutine were ridiculously good and my wife’s Philly cheese steak sandwich was tender and delicious and my daughter’s chicken parm was out of this world too. “A good shawarma place for me is one that serves quality ingredients. This restaurant obviously put thought into the sourced ingredients. What makes it a cut above for me is the seasoning. Usually I can drown my shawarma in sauce and just be happy, but here sauce is an option as the seasoning is fantastic on the meats and rice. The brown rice and beef are my favourite. They serve the salad separately and sometimes it’s a bit too vinaigrette for my taste but overall a great shawarma spot.“

“Great food when its open, always loved the quality of the shawarma the owner couple brings, and they are both very friendly. The hours of operation is the inconvenience which plagues the average aylmer business anyway, it is unfortunate as i would order here more often rather than hop the pond. I hope they'll hire additional workers to atleast be open 7 days a week but like i mentioned i fear this is more of an aylmer business fault. Otherwise food is fantastic, quality is always great, doesn't taste like the meats have stay on the sticks for days on end, and the addition of preserves and can foods like pickled turnips is a nice touch as well.“

“Amazing, fresh pies at what is a local institution. This is a great spot for an affordable snack or lunch. They have many variations being baked right before your eyes. The classic meat pie ($3 each) with spice is my go-to. The meat is generous for this type of pie and well seasoned. You can see the steam coming off the pie I got right out of the oven. Highly recommend.“

“Love the chicken shawarma! I usually don’t want any veggies in my sandwich other than lettuce (lol) but the staff was kind enough to fill the tortilla with more lettuce and meat! I find the garlic sauce was not too strong for me, but THE sweet sauce OMG was my favorite! I always ask for extra everytime. Decent portions and definitely my go-to shawarma place!“
