“I ate at JJ's yesterday and today. Ok, this is by far the the best Shawarma I have eaten in 40 years! Fast and friendly service. Nothing but love for this restaurant. Everyone should experience this amazing food at least once before they die.”

“I made a large take-out order for a staff party, and they were great! They answered the phone and took the order (there was an issue with the online ordering that day). The day pf, they were very accommodating and the food was ready when I arrived. There was plenty of food, and my staff enjoyed their meal. I would consider ordering from here again!”

We hosted our parent’s 50th Anniversary at the cafe in June and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. It’s the perfect spot to host a party with everything that you need in one location. We highly recommend that you give them a try for your next private event.”

“When Sam's came to Kemptville and we tried their pizza, we were hooked. My son in law said it perfectly .: "This is the Best pizza I've had in a long time." I had to deliver to Carleton Place tho. :) The shawarmas are outstanding and filling, The staff are friendly and accurate. Homemade sauce is the secret I think. “We had a group of 23 have a lunch at Salamanders and I have to say this was one of the absolute best choices I've ever made ever! I live in Australia so navigating finding a space to host my mom's memorial was tricky. Other places looked either loud, wouldn't answer my questions, made me feel like I was annoying them for asking basic questions or had pricey set menus. We had mostly older attendees plus a couple kids so everyone needed to be able to choose what they wanted (but they can do a set menu or limited options for your guests if you want - literally whatever works for you, they will do!) Leeanne (unsure if I spelled that right) was SUCH a delight. She answered all my questions, and so quickly! Through fb messenger she sent me photos, offered helpful suggestions, etc. She set the space up perfectly - the function space can accomodate 40+ but she made it feel perfect for 23, making space to stand and chat, and space to sit and a kids colouring nook! Gorgeous view of the river, and in warmer months you can use the patio for over flow. Restrooms in the space but off to the side. A bar in the space too but they also did Table service. The food was Delicious and beautifully presented. My almost 2yr old needed to run a bit and the staff were so calm as I handled her exuberant moments. The ease and kindness from Leeann was absolutely fantastic!. If I ever need a space for a group of any size in this area we will Always choose Salamanders. Thank you So So much!”

“I absolutely love this place! Every time I grab a coffee here, I find myself wondering why I would ever go anywhere else. The coffee is always top-notch, and anything food is always delicious (pastry and lunch stuff). What really sets this coffee shop apart, though, is its unique yet warm and welcoming vibe. It’s the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done. Overall, I can’t recommend it enough. A solid 10/10!”

“Went there today and had fish and chips the fish was cooked perfect the batter was nice and crisp the fish was perfect and fresh and the chips perfectly cooked the service is great and friendly I recommend the station to have a meal there will go again I give it 10/10 thank you”

“fast and friendly, and everything was fresh—from the warm, soft bread to the crisp veggies. I got the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki on Italian Herb & Cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was well-assembled, generous in portions, and customized exactly how I like it. The store was also clean and welcoming. Definitely my go-to spot for a quick and satisfying meal. Highly recommend!”

“So I don't normally leave reviews. That being said this is my family's go to place for Chinese food. Unfortunately on the night I need you to deliver great food, it just was barely edible the chicken balls were hard on the inside and out. The egg rolls were hard and dry, the chow mein not edible way to much of the gravy it like mush. I am not one to complain but when you spend 75 dollars on a meal you want to be able to eat it. Especially when I am very sick and just really want some wonton soup and for my kids and husband get some yummy Chinese food.”

“Visiting relatives in .,the area and went here for Chinese food. I’m from a small town of Waterford. There is a Chinese restaurant named Yins and for years was a go to place . Since I’ve moved I’ve been trying to find someplace that does good chicken fried rice and this was it! Excellent fried rice and wonderful chicken balls. Had an egg roll which was also very good. If you want very good Chinese , this is the place.”
