“This place has a whimsical cozy feel and is beautifully designed and decorated. The vintage touches are stunning and it was so enjoyable to look at everything while waiting for our meal. The food was delicious!!! We got the nonnas meatball and it was moist and sooo delicious ! Served with soft fresh baked focaccia bread ! We had the special Braised Beef it was melt in your mouth soooo yummy ! Everything was fantastic! We went back a second time and had the spicy chicken bites … what a crunch! And so tasty! We also had the Sunday Roast dinner and we are STUFFED! Such a hearty portion served and sooo flavorful and tender roast beef, creamy smooth mashed potatoes and the cook on the veggies was on point ! Overall this is our second time and both were fabulous! Highly recommend this restaurant they are doing it right and great quality and value for money ☺️ thank you for the lovely meals ! We will be back!”

“Super cute place and the employee was very friendly and knowledgeable. We passed by heading home after a weekend trip and then turned around because it looked like a place we didn't want to miss! We purchased 2 lattes and then a ton of alcoholic and non alcoholic cans to go.”

“Came here for a Pow Wow Cafe pop up and bought my mother so she could try a fry bread taco. The beef brisket tacos were excellent as was the strawberry drink. We ate in the outdoor pavilion and it was a beautiful location. The place was busy and it was nice to see so many people enjoying themselves. The owners are always extremely friendly, whether here at the restaurant or in Toronto where I usually see them at a festival or at the recently closed Pow Wow cafe. Came here in Canada Day and supporting a local Indigenous business was a wonderful way to spend the day.”

“Yes, we love the pizza, but you need to also know that they make the BEST panzo's around!!!! So, don't forget to try that too sometime! Great customer service! Small place so they often have longer wait times for delivery, it's worth it!!!! Call early, and wait on it, it's always delicious, and they are always honest about the wait time so you know exactly what to expect on those nights! Otherwise super timely delivery most nights and a business run by the most wonderful and caring people!”

“Food was good, garlic bread is the best but the last time we were down we were an hour getting our main course. That's not usual for Steve's...lots of take out orders going out so may have just been a very busy night.”
“@highlandgrounds; You've been right?! If not add that to your stop when passing through Flesherton. The owners are just such spectacular community AND environmental stewards. They've [recently] moved locations from right downtown to a few seconds up highway 10, next to Sparlings. I never/very rarely get coffee outside the house. Especially since the world became less environmental during the interesting times we've lived in the last few years. Places no lo ger let me bring my travel mug. This place does! And if you want tonuse a cup, theirs are compostable. Let me tell you the type of service you get here. Laughs, local foods, and goodies, fair trade coffee, organic items, laughs and good conversations are free. I drove from Markdale to Flesherton to Shelburne to take Elara to the dentist. We were going to stop in Tim Hortons toget a special hot.drink.bur the lineup was insane and I prefer to not support the big guy. We continued to Flesherton. Stopped at Highland Grounds for hot chocolate, banana muffin and some goodies for a friemds birthday gift. I drove to Flesherton and got what I needed in less time than going through the Drive Thu at Tim Hortons. AND they carried out all my stuff and put it in the car because my hands were full with kids. OH AND the most important thing, which I did notice and meant the world..... My child's hot Chocolate was made cooler than mine so that she can enjoy it right away. Wow. That's service you don't get anywhere else. Thank you so much. Truly appreciative of businesses and folks like that.”

“A lot of the options were sold out at this location ( like my two favourites the BBQ chicken and the four cheese) but I didn't mind taking a delicious alternative ( pepperoni )”
“First time here. We’ll be back. Very friendly, caring servers. Excellent western sandwiches, and hot, fresh coffee. The sandwiches had crispy bacon, ham, cheese, and egg. Only negative was that the crueller was stale. But it was Christmas Day so maybe not baking fresh for a quieter day. Also, the price was fantastic. 3 bagels, 2 coffees and a crueller for $23. Thank you.”

“The service was so great and food was really good! Perch and fries were absolutely fantastic! We ordered ahead of time and food was ready when we got there or we would have had to wait! It’s nice to see how busy they are! Keep up the good work!”
“This is in a gas station, and has the typical Mr. Sub specials and choices. Service can be slow as often there is not enough staff, but they are efficient and polite.”

“heart's is the only place in the area that is consistently good.they have a chalkboard specials board along with the regular dinner menu. I've never been for brunch yet.first time, ordered the steak tartare and smoked salmon with squid ink, then was way too full for the main. both were fantastic. wish they had gf bread.... difficult to eat apps without gf options.next times I knew to skip sides otherwise I couldn't have a main.had the steak special, steak had amazing ginger sesame flavours but I couldn't chew it so only ate half. fries are too salty but I like how fat they were. The cheesecake was the best I've had.... and I've had a lot.Trout was very thoughtfully executed with bursting flavours. The half chicken special surprised me with how tender and juicy it was.The ribs are those fall-off-the-bone ribs with delicious coleslaw (I normally don't like coleslaw). comes with good thick cut fries (still too salty for me but others loved them). I'm missing the cornbread.there should be non dairy options, vegan options, and more non alcoholic beverage options.an espresso machine would be a plusparking is usually pretty full. please don't leave large gaps when parking.”
