“I had yet another wonderful experience with General Brock’s Commissary recently, ordering a fun box of local goodies to be sent out of province. It was my first meeting of their Assistant Manager, who in true GBC form made several helpful suggestions, was enthusiastic about my purpose, patient with my dithering indecision, and cheerfully bent over backwards to make the tricky parts of my last-minute order work well. Not only are they well-stocked with lots of Canadian products for these high-tariff times, much of what I saw was not only from Ontario, but local to the Kingston area. I can’t recommend these folks enough.“

“I love insomnia cookies, they’re so good. I love the fact that they taste more homemade and less mass produced. They remind me of cookies i would bake at home. I also love that they’re open so late because i tend to crave sweets later, and they’re good for dessert after a party or concert. The prices are a little bit high for cookies but I feel like the size of the cookies makes it worth it. The deluxe cookies are about $6 but they’re about the size of my hand, which feels worth it.“

“Went into the Bath rd location in Kingston and you could clearly see they were super busy and suffering staff shortages ( like everywhere ) and of course one customer was holding up the line because she can’t get coupon on her email to load then she made them remake her “custom” blizzard 4 times cause it was not right! Others complaining about the wait. The whole time all the staff remained friendly and efficient doing their absolute best to continue to provide excellent service! Hats off to the team, you guys are amazing and all deserve a bonus :-)“
