“Great food, easily the best wings in Kingston, it can be loud and dark, there is an elevated level with stairs to access, a small seating area on the lower floor and a large bar with great beer selection and several TV's to watch sports.Parking: Lot is directly in front of the restaurant but can be very busyWheelchair accessibility: Very few accessible parking spots, a steep curb with a cut in front of the restaurant, no automatic doors, a narrow entry way, 3 steps to most seating but seating also available on the lower level with no steps to access, washrooms are in the rear and require navigating through the restaurant can be accessed without stairs but don't have automatic doors.“
“Happened by this lil GEM on a weekend getaway to Kingston. We were looking for live music and somewhere to play pool. Ample parking in a back lot. Was close to our accomodations and I have to say, we had one of the funnest nights we have had in YEARS. 2 bands played the night we were there. The staff was amazing, patrons were a blast and the pool table was FREE to play. The owner was adorable and very friendly. We have discussed going back with a friend for an evening just to visit this bar. Can't say enough about how fun our evening spent here was. Wish we had tried the food too. Next time guys!!“
“Used to be one of my favourite restaurants, and in terms of atmosphere, it's still a favourite. However, the vegetarian options are always a letdown. They usually only ever have one option, and sometimes it's been good in the past (falafel wrap as an example), but overall it's disappointing. I feel like not even offering a veggie burger as an option is a strange choice, and really limiting your customer base.“
“Such a cute little pub and a Kingston icon. After passing by this place many times my friend and I checked it out. You seat yourself and the staff feel like true Kingstonians. The pub gives family owned, very caring vibes. The other people in the pub were very low key and it was quiet enough to have good conversation. The food had big portions and tasted amazing. Would definitely return to this place and would recommend to anyone“

“We visit our son once a month in Kingston and we always choose a place to have lunch. This time my son requested a fish and chips place and after researching all the fish-n-chips places in Kingston we decided to visit this restaurant. I have to say this was an excellent choice, the food is great but best of all the French fries were homemade. We will go back“
“A great 1st-time lunch experience! Welcomed upon entry! The Bennie's Poutine was suggested and did not disappoint! The Schnitzel was delicious! Service was great, food was hot, atmosphere music not too loud! The Patio was an option but ate inside! Will be back!“
“The breakfast of the two can has been the same for the last 25 years and it continues to be if not the same but even better. Especially when upgraded to the sweet potato fries. As well my waiter was phenomenal. He took my order and came back one time within 2 minutes just to verify and make sure that he had it correct and I hadn't changed my mind about anything. And then the service throughout was amazingly friendly, and attentive, while not being too much. Great waiter. Unfortunately I don't remember his name to give him kudos“
“I have been here 3 times over the past 9 years and have always, always had good service and great food. I recommend the kitchen fries with pork belly. Anything with pork belly will be great here. Get a beer or a cocktail made to perfection. Thank you Redhouse.“
“UPDATE: Their new french fries are unreal. I know a lot of people complain about wanting the old style fries but they are always a hit and miss. I go here for the fries now - they are just that good. Classic pub fare. Good for a lunch meal and a lunch beer. Always a nice selection of taps.“
“In the city of Kingston, this is, the best ‘local’ pub you can go too. The regulars on the bar, the wait staff that know your name, it’s the most loyal pub I’ve found in this city and everyone’s welcome. It’s all society and all ages. Do yourself a favour and saddle up along the bar here and order a drink. The beef dip with poutine upgrade is a wise man’s choice.“
