“Coming from an English family and background, I am a bit of a fish and chips snob. This place makes the best fish and chips in the region. We order white fish as it has a very mellow taste equal to halibut, but less expensive. We feed 5 people 2 big pieces of fish and chips for $56“

“We had 2 seafood platters. The fish was done perfectly in light oil which tells us they change oil on a regular basis. Very thin better which yields more fish and the chips were very tasty and big. We would definitely come back as these places are hard to find.“

“My husband and myself, decided to try Riverside Fish Hut tonight for supper. It was our first time visiting. We were both blown away at how good our food was. I had the halibut and my husband had the white fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The fish was amazing and delicious. The staff was very polite and curtious as well. “Waited a little bit for server but server was pleasant and attentive once he came back out on the floor.Food was good best fish and chips i have had in a long while.I had the 2 piece Halibut and my Wife got Newfie fries and and shrimp.We also got onion rings before the meal which we really didn't need because portions were very good.Onion rings were very good batter very light and fluffy.Could have been a little more onion in them and were on the greasy side.But all in all were delicious.My wife was generally happy with her meal Newfie fries could have had more gravy and shrimp was good.We would come back Halibut is for whatever reason rare to see on menu's for fish and chips and was a nice treat as fish and chips everywhere in the past use to be Halibut not haddock.Fries were definitely hand cut and very good“
