“As someone who has strong gluten intolerance, I love that so much of what they offer is gluten free. LOVE their pakoras, lentil/veggie soup and other offerings. Wonderful family with everything made in house. Great cookies too!

“It was my first experienced over there and I really liked the food a-lot . I told them specifically that I don’t want too spicy and they make perfectly according to my taste . Even the food served in a very good way . Moreover, the owner of this restaurant is very friendly and they treat us in a very respectful way.

“This place has delicious shawarma and the mom and dad running the place seem to really care.
However, I dislike places where there is no menu. I want a clear price for every item I pick. They have TV screens with some items, but nothing if all you want is a wrap, which is odd and not to my liking. I got one price, but the Saj shawarma wrap was more expensive. Of course without a menu I have no way of knowing this.
So I ordered the Chicken Saj shawarma which was great, but what I ordered wasn't very creamy. But the chicken was delicious. I'm sure that if I had a menu then I could have ordered something exactly to my taste. My son had the Falafel plate which was delicious and as advertised.“

“I decided to stop in today and grab lunch . I ordered the Kibbeh . Now I have eaten this dish all over the world and had Armenian and Egyptian friends make it for me , And today’s was by far the best I have ever had . I am fighting the urge to go back and order more .“

“Love the Butter chicken and rice, although I do find it EXTREMELY spicy. I wish there was a way to retain the flavors without all the heat, but I guess one goes with the other. I had pre-ordered on line the lunch sized butter chicken but it wasn't ready when I arrived. Had to wait about 10 minutes for it but the guy apologized and gave me the large size at no additional cost so all was good. 😋“

“This place has a cult following among UW students and is a bit overhyped but it is still the best shawarma on campus. Lazeez on the sticks is very good. The place has a washroom, which is very convenient, although the cleanliness could be better.“
