I was there recently with two other girlfriends. We are all turning 65 this year. The ambience, food and service were lovely. Looking forward to returning. Even toured the museum as an added bonus.
Exquisite food and impeccable service make this one of our favourite places to go. Thank you “The River Room” for helping celebrate our Mother’s 88th birthday.
When we received the notice that this venue was closing we immediately booked for Sunday Brunch (the last). We have had some lovely Sunday visits over time and wanted a final opportunity to enjoy the view and excellent food. Nothing disappointed and we were able to thank the wonderful staff and wish them well in their new adventure.

While the food is generally good, some dishes may not meet expectations. However, many guests have enjoyed their meals, especially the Sunday brunch, and appreciated the lovely ambiance. The restaurant is a great spot to celebrate special occasions, and its proximity to the museum is an added bonus. The menu features a variety of dishes, including shrimp, Korean chicken, smoked salmon, and fish tacos, which have been praised by customers. The restaurant is often packed, but the staff manages to provide excellent service even during busy times. Overall, it's a great place to visit and try again.
