“A Wonderful Birthday Experience at Bosporus Turkish Cuisine We had the pleasure of dining at Bosporus Turkish Cuisine last night to celebrate my birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy autumn charm that made the evening feel truly special. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing waitress, Eda, who made the night extraordinary. Her kindness, attentiveness, and warm personality created such a welcoming experience. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and even helped my husband organize a lovely surprise for me, which was the highlight of the evening! The food was absolutely exceptional—each dish was a delightful combination of authentic Turkish flavors and elegant presentation. “Saray is bright, colourful and fun. The food was unreal and super affordable. We’re glad we held off on ordering mains - 4 starter dips and 1 salad was MORE than enough for the 3 of us. I could live off of the cheese & feta rolls. Planning on taking my boys soon so they can try all the meat skewers while I eat all the appetizers. If you’re in Richmond Hill give it a try - vibe, service, taste 10/10.“

“The place was packed, but they tried very efficiently to accommodate. Staff very welcoming, smiling and try to help/please the customer. In particular we were impressed by the service and politeness shown by our Two servers, Hebun & Mete. Of course, one can not taste everything. We ordered a Platter that had combination of Meats, Vegetables, Grain Rice and Bread. Very tasty, enjoyed. They can make the Entrance more Clean and improve the Waiting Area.“

“My friends and I were feeling like some Turkish food, and we found this place not too far from us, and it was absolutely amazing. The beef and chicken kebabs were all super tender and flavorful. The pide was perfect, and the Beyti kabab was my personal favourite. The service was great as well.“

“The food is delicious with lots of choice of vegetables for healthy eating , the servings are very generous and I always have to eat it on two servings . The staff is efficient and helpful. It’s not a high end restaurant so the atmosphere is comfortable but very basic .“

“We haven't tasted such delicious raw meatballs in a long time. We had an excellent time with our group of friends at Mahmood Çiğ köfte. Mr. Mahmood is very polite and kind. We also thank you for the free tea service. We will come again as soon as possible. I recommend it to everyone.“

“Just amazing! 2 weeks in a row I’ve had the chicken doner wrap. It is BIG! So juice and tasty with all the chicken and I’m not one for salad but it tastes so fresh. My new weekly take out for sure. This is a little gem of a place.“

“Iskender was bad. Spices used were different than used in the real Turkish döner. Lahmacun was broken into pieces and cold. No lemon, parsley and onions were delivered with lahmacun.I ordered from this restaurant again and this time food was great. I realized that actually the delivery was bad. So, I am changing my review to 5 stars.“

“the food was amazing the service was so fast and the server gave us salad with such a good sauce ? and the food came like 5-6 min later. anyways recommend for families because it’s spacious and the quantity give is huge. we all have leftovers !!“

“I was in the area, driving around super hungry, approaching closing hour for many places and I really didn't want A&W/McD/Popeyes etc. Saw the word Shawarma looked open and yay pulled in here...but they were at end of the day and nothing on the spit. What's a girl who knows virtually nothing about Turkish food options, and without reading glasses to see the menu well, to do? The nice people made me something and off I went with my little hot package, still not quite totally knowing what I had in store. So....yum hello a fluffy and crispy baked flatbread with edges folded over, nicely spiced beef, some cheese...ahah! I just gobbled it down. And now I know what Pide is! And even better have another good place to go when around Downsview.“

“I am Korean Canadian with a pretty normal palate for food. I have become a regular here for the breads and pastry. In particular I love their personal sized pizzas and a tubular pastry that has feta and spinach Burek I think, I forget the name but absolutely the most crispy flaky and delicious breakfast I can have. Seems (pronounce Shems) is the gentlman usually behind the counter who is just the kindest man. They also have raw honey which my kids loved and I just tried the cherry drink. Good stuff especially for my gout. I am a customer for life~“

“Very nice store with a variety of items and good prices. This has turned to one of my main stores for grocery shopping. Love the “lahmacu” and “simit” pack. They have good olives, cheese and lots of snack options for kids. People who work there are always very welcoming and polite. I’m glad I have this Turkish store, close to my place ?

“The main reason that I’m writing this review is because of the amazing service I got tonight from Arlene.
Istanbul Cafe has been a go-to spot of mine for years. It’s good to say that as time goes by the service gets better. Tonight we were served by an incredibly nice lady named Arlene. She was very polite and considerate. Even though it was quite late she still welcomed us with care and left a very good impression.“

“Having breakfast with my beloved family ( 9 Person ) in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere at the Mado chain restaurant.
One star deducted cause the Traditional Turkish breakfast is served with bread which was not enough for our order. ordering extra bread comes with an extra charge which i think is unfair.“
