Excellent eel and sashimi! The menu is compact, which indicates that the chef is very much focused on a couple of key items and they really nailed it. Will 100% come back next time we are at J-Town. The staff team is amazing as well. Thank you for all the great work!

Had a lunch combo here with the Tokyo ramen set, which came with a small salad on the side. The ramen itself was quite tasty, a comforting bowl with one slice of pork, a half seasoned soft-boiled egg, and some spinach. The broth had a nice depth of flavor, though I did find the portion a bit on the smaller side, especially considering it was around $18 before tax and tip.
The ambience is lowkey and very much in line with a cozy Japanese spot: warm, intimate, and simple....

It was a hot day, the kind where the sun feels like it’s licking away at the trees.
In the morning, my friends and I headed to J-Town for some comforting bowls of ramen and curry rice at the supermarket. While exploring, we spotted an izakaya that instantly caught our eye, so we decided to return in the evening for dinner.
