It is a lovely place with even lovelier staff who make great coffee, but more than anything, make you feel welcome and recognized and a part of a wonderful neighbourhood community. It’s a great spot, tucked away from the main Lakeshore Rd craziness, and whether you just want to chill for a few, grab a coffee and hit the road, or try to do some work while minding a baby, this is the place. Backroad has become an integral part of the port credit community and is such a fun place to meet friends and enjoy watching the trains go by. It is truly an oasis. Plenty of parking on several lots on the north side of Queen St. The baby loves this place, and there is a changing table available. There’s always kids around with parents and grandparents, and everyone is super friendly and kind. They also have babyccinos!
