Water Drop Teahouse is a hidden gem worth the visit. The laksa soup and fruit tea are must-tries, with the vegetarian laksa being especially good. The zen decor and cleanliness create a unique and cozy experience. The tea served is excellent, particularly the fruit tea, though it’s best enjoyed fresh. The tofu in the soups is cooked really well and flavorful. Vegetarian options are available, and parking is convenient in the temple grounds. Membership access is required but can be obtained on-site for $30 annually, which also allows purchasing food tickets. A discounted rate is offered after July 1st. One membership is sufficient for a group to enjoy the experience at both locations. The menu is limited but everything is $12 per item. Payment is only cash or debit card. The volunteers are excellent, attentive, and courteous. The teahouse is pretty busy, especially on temple event days when it’s closed. Hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 11 to 3:30. It’s a wonderful location for some good noodles and tea, filled with positive energy.
