“I recently attended the tiramisu class offered by Classes by Xawaash, and it was an exceptional experience. It made for a perfect girls’ day out with my friend, and the quality of the class exceeded all expectations. The tiramisu we made was truly some of the best I have ever tasted—rich, balanced, and expertly guided by the instructors.
Asma and Eman were outstanding hosts. Their warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Before the class began, they provided a generous spread of food and coffee, which was a thoughtful and greatly appreciated touch. They also shared printed recipes with participants, making it easy to recreate the dessert at home.

I have been going to their neighbors with my parents since I was a 5-year-old kid, namely the Burger Joint beside them. Today I decided I was going to eat healthy. I read the reviews and decided I would try s i d o. A couple of the reviews that I read were bang on accurate. This is a one-off family-type place but has more of a homemade feel to the menu than the Shawarma franchise places. When you are running a one-off place you have to build a loyal customer base or you won't survive these days I see why they have been able to do this. Have generous portions in most places today really cheap out on the protein they do not do that here as for the part that you do not eat which is customer service they are absolutely outstanding somebody referenced an older guy and a younger guy well the older guy is about my age and he was one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. Did I have a background in the people business, public relations and media, therefore I understand this part of things. They were telling me when I started asking questions because I've done business consulting, that they have customers coming all the way from Aurelia that are regulars. As I mentioned, do you know how many Shawarma places they must pass to get here? And there is definitely a reason for that. I will now be a regular and I will not have to feel guilty when I eat food that tastes good. And I won't have to punish myself with an extra half hour on the recumbent bike at the gym“

I recently visited Osmow’s Shawarma, and while the overall experience was decent, it definitely had a few ups and downs. 🌯

Let’s start with the positives — the deals are really good, especially their $5 offers, which make it a great option if you’re looking for something quick and affordable. 💸 The chicken itself was cooked nicely, and the portion sizes were fair for the price. The staff was friendly and polite, and I appreciated the good customer service at the store. 🙌

The location is also quite convenient. There’s plenty of parking available, so you don’t have to struggle to find a spot 🚗. Plus, the plaza has Metro and a few other shops nearby, which makes it easy to combine your meal stop with some errands. 🛍️ The dine-in area is also nice and clean — nothing fancy, but comfortable enough to sit and enjoy your food. 🍽️

However, when it comes to the taste, I found it a bit disappointing. 😕 The shawarma was very, very dry, which took away from the overall experience. The flavours were okayish, not bad but definitely not as flavorful or juicy as I expected. Even the Chicken on the Rocks, which usually comes loaded and creamy, was quite dry too — though still decent in quantity.

In my opinion, the food needs a bit more sauce, moisture, and flavour to really stand out. It wasn’t bad, but not something I’d go out of my way for again. Overall, I’d say Osmow’s is good for a quick bite or if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, but if you’re craving a truly juicy, flavorful shawarma, there’s definitely room for improvement.
