“I recommend Kettlemans as the food is good and they have good variety. That said. The service is sub-par. My wife and I stop here regularly on Sunday Mornings about 7 am 2 or 3 times a month. Consistently nobody greets us even though there are many workers who make eye contact and just keep doing whatever they're doing. More often than not we have to call out to get attention after waiting several minutes at the front counter. Management doesn't seem to value customer service and simply expects people to keep coming back as if Kettlemans' history entitles them to customers. That is a surprising attitude in an otherwise excellent store.“

“The bagels are so good. Made in store. We were watching the process as we ate our lunch. The BLT sandwich and the CBC sandwich were very good. A great place to grab a small lunch, grab your weeks worth of bagels and try a new cream cheese. Totally worth a visit!“

Parking was easy and convenient right in front of the business.

The venue was clean and tidy. Based on previous posts there was no smell or any filth.

The guy who helped me was very helpful, professional and welcoming. I had no idea what to get and he was very informative with the options. Had a great smile all through. So 5 stars for that experience.

The bagel was greattttttt. I had a smoked salmon with the creame cheese and olives and some little green things lol I can’t remember the name. Everything was just a great mix of flavour. I had the same for my dad. We had chips and a canned drink.
5 stars for that also.
It is very filling. My dad devoured his i could only do half of mine.

“Definitely the best bagels in Ottawa. Although they are bigger than the ones you get in Montreal they just as good as Montreal bagels used to be 30 years ago (I think St-Viateur bagels have become sweeter over the years.) And you always get a smile from the people behind the counter.“
