“Amazing food, great staff, nice location. I’ve been here many times and done dine in and takeout and every time I enjoy it. They have a nice set menu/combo of the day around 30$. It includes hot and sour soup which is so light and fresh! Then they bring a plate with: daily curry, daily stir fry, rice, spring roll and salad. It is well worth it! They have nice specials around the holidays as well and a good drink menu. Staff is always so kind and welcoming! Their Thai food is very light on the stomach, not greasy and fatty. Very fresh vegetables and very flavourful sauces. A little spicy, and just so flavourful! I leave feeling very satisfied“

“Ordered the Pad Thai with tofu and my daughter ordered medium, which the employee warned my 10 yr old that it would be spicy( thankyou).. she wanted it..and it is by far the best Thai express I have had in the region.
We just had one open up close toe in Aylmer, and it is too sweet and the tofu is rock hard..it was gross..
This location reaffirmed my love of Thai express...go here it is worth the price(15$)

“Liu's is our go-to for Chinese food in town. The open ended eggrolls are delicious! Staff is very courteous and we've never had any issues with taste or temperature of food as we do pick up. Many complaints about food being cold or taking awhile to deliver? But that's not the restaurant's fault; take that up with your delivery service.“

“Ate at the new Hawkesbury location: Incredible, authentic Thai cuisine. Super great service only surpassed by the amazing food. Had: Chicken Satay, Fresh Spring Rolls, Panang Curry, Green Curry, Pad Thai, and Crispy Tofu, with a Sticky Mango dessert. Perfect for individual or sharing plates. Cannot recommend enough and needed in the area. Will be back - regularly.“

“We went during the Victoria Day long weekend after going to the Ottawa Tulip Festival. All restaurants were busy that weekend and although we made a reservation at a different restaurant, they reached capacity and the long wait would have gotten us late to see the fireworks and drone show. “Good food, small space and big heart! Social Thai serves good food in a small space run by the nicest people. Don't judge the place from the outside. It is tiny with just a few tables. Venture inside for good food. We started with veggie and shrimp eggrolls, crispy and tasty. We had curry for the main course. Spicyness was subtle and potent but not overwhelming. We finished our meals with some delicious pistachio and chocolate pastries. If space and surroundings matter to you, try their take out. “Finally today, I decided to go back to Thai Express. I work just across the street and due to bad customer service from my previous experiences, I avoided the place. Today, I thought to give them another chance, and I thought to myself that I would just suck it up on the bad service. Well, I received burnt food for takeout. Customer service was finally improved because the regular girl cashier no longer worked there, but how could you possibly serve customers burnt food? You can smell it as you were cooking and you can see the blackness. There's a snow storm out so I didn't bother to go back, so I had to eat this terrible food I paid for. The franchisor of Thai Express really should be aware of this place, I have heard nothing but horrible things about them. And once again, they have proved everyone right.

UPDATE*** There's a new owner at this location and they have honestly changed this place around. The food is delicious, the customer service is superb. I am truly impressed with the new staff and happy to come back here over and over again. Thank you!“

Salt and pepper shrimp was nice but missing the crunch factor cause it was skinless. But lots of people prefer peeled shrimp - so this is the place for those people. I just prefer the crunch from the non peeled salt and pepper shrimp :)“

“Got take out while grocery shopping, food was delicious, staff was helpful and friendly! Got the rare beef and shrimp pho as well as the chicken and shrimp pho (both chicken broth and rice noodles). Broth was flavourful and the rare beef was actually rare! There was also a nice mix of veggies (bean sprouts, sliced cabbage) and fresh herbs (thai basil, green onions and a dash of cilantro). Shrimp rolls were also tasty and fresh!“
