“Tried them tonight, not too bad. Sandwiches were very tasty but would benefit from other options such as a mix of mushrooms, green peppers and onions. Not a fan of the fries. Ditch the frozen coated fries and go with fresh hand cut instead. Online ordering was a challenge, forced into options like additional unwanted sauces and the order never went through. Goid thing I called to verify...online ordering needs some work. Overall 7/10“

“On Dec 24 early morning, I went to McDonald's to fulfill a coffee run for friends.
I was greeted by a wonderful lady behind the counter, an older lady, friendly, polite and patient. She got our variety of warm and cold beverages and keyed it for us as opposed to self serve. Within minutes we had warm drinks and a cold one with fresh sweets that made our day.

“If it was available, would rate this place 5++ stars. Found this gem for breakfast (they also have lunch/dinner)on our road trip towards Ottawa as it’s conveniently only a few minutes off the 401. Extensive menu, clean and organized. Food and coffee were hot, fresh and delicious. The owner was so personable and it was clear that this is a local favourite as he was serving tables that he appeared to know their orders before they even sat down. Warm & inviting little spot, we will keep this one on our radar as we make trips along this stretch on the regular. Thank you for a fabulous experience we will be back to try some other dishes. This is a must-dine place!!“

“Me and my wife live in town and have our burgers regularly at A&W Bowmanville. This store is always kept impeccably clean, staff is courteous with ultimate effort to provide quality service. This store is by far the best kept A&W in the whole region. Jatinder, the manager goes the extra mile to keep clients satisfied with the quality of service and often asks our feedback on how their performance was. He is a unique and hand on manager, setting an example to his staff and makes a great name for this store. We couldn't as for a better service and we I'll remain a loyal customer as long as it takes.

“I love Hanc's Fries. Long time staple of my old home town for probably 50 years of changes of venue and chip trucks/trailer but they have always been the best fries around to be found though mine are pretty awesome too. The Hanc's were a few doors down from my growing up and I'm proud of having been a tiny part of the history of these historically well known and appreciated fries and family now there's more great food available and not just their awesome fries. Go check them out if your looking for a French fry truck while out travelling or don't feel like cooking, you won't be disappointed.“
