Overpriced. Usually bakeries will lower prices at the end of the day however I bought a cheese toast for $5 just before close. I would’ve been okay with the price if the product was fresh, but the product was cold.
Honestly, my favourite bakery! We live out of town and no stop to Newmarket is complete without a trip to Saint Germain’s. Same for my parents who also always stop here when in Newmarket. The service/staff are fantastic and the food is phenomenal. Prices are very reasonable and it’s extremely clean. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!
All the bread are delicious its our first time to try it, we are going back again to buy all diff bread😊

Saint Germain Bakery offers a delightful experience. Their chestnut cake is a highlight, with a thick and fragrant puree, just the right sweetness, and fresh fruit flavor. The bakery is a great destination for buns, with reasonable prices and good quality. The lobster roll is a worthy try, with fresh ingredients and a nice bun. The bakery has also introduced frozen items, made fresh and frozen for later consumption. This Saint Germain location is a bit smaller compared to their other locations, and they seem to carry less products, but they have a seating area here which is a great addition. The pastries are always fresh and delicious, and the staff is super friendly. They also have huge iced matcha latte and pinacolada. The workers were so kind and kept cleaning the entire time, checking up on them and having friendly conversation. This place is a hidden gem.
