“The vibe is wonderful. Hundred percent fit for friends group chilling. The combo, including alcohol n snacks is great, reasonable pricing. And the food is actually not bad. Beer u can kinda taste it might mix with water cuz pretty light. The whiskey is good. I prefer the whiskey ice tea over beer a lot. The staff is nice just not the front desk girl. When we walk in, she said they are full booking. We completely understand, even a bit disappointed, we r gonna search up another bar nearby. And then the next second she said she forgot they have second level which is empty😂 I was like what, how can you forget that. At the end, when we leave, we still don see they are full, lmao“

“Went here twice while staying the weekend in Toronto for an event. The first night was BUSY but they still managed to find us a place and get us some great food and drinks without issue! Last night 10/28/2023 we came back just for some drinks around 11 and sat at the bar. I could tell it had been a LONG day for everyone working (anyone who has worked service knows the look of a long day) and let me just say. Everyone was still wonderful and kind and helpful. I wish I could remember her name but the woman working the bar with dark hair was AMAZINGGGGG I'm sad we live so far away, but next year we'll be back :)“

“This place definitely lives up to it's prices. The fondue recommendation was certainly much appreciated, and I haven't had one this amazing since forever. And the Slovenian sausage was next level.

One minor thing I'd mention though and I'm not sure if it's intentional but the curry we got with the sausages wasn't warm.

Nonetheless, if you haven't come here yet, you should. It's truly a blessed time.“

“I visited here mid January for a late night cap with a couple of friends after a birthday celebration. A group of 11 arrived maybe around 12 AM and we were able to get seated instantly. Waitress was really nice and served us within a couple minutes, we didn’t order much food just truffle fries, some wings and maybe one or two margaritas. The waitress was still very nice as we were able to get a free birthday dessert for my friend.

We also played the game with the ball which required you to score 150 to win the bottle of tequila. We scored 170 I believe, but the game did not recognize it and we weren’t able to score the free bottle. Nonetheless great experience, bartender was really nice.

“Went before a show at Massey Hall. Place was full with after work crowd and a little noisy. Our food was delicious. We had Spanish Prawn a”Rice bowl and our server was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time and will certainly be back.“

“Came here on a Tuesday to celebrate my boyfriends 38th birthday. We had never been, and looked here on OpenTable for some restaurants we hadn't tried. Parquet came up and I'm so glad it did! Tucked away on the corner of Robert and harbour, this restaurant offers delicious eats, and very yummy cocktails to go with. We had, the bread with butternut squash, and some oysters so start. Both were very good, well presented. Perfect way to start. We then got the leek croquettes, and the steak tar tar. Oh my, absolutely outstanding. We were already so excited with what we got we knew the main would not disappoint. We got the short rib, accompanied but the fingerling smashed potatoes. One of the best courses I've had. The meat was fall off the bone tender, and the potatoes were light fluffy, but also so delicious. Dessert we did the panacotta, and the lemon tart which were a perfect way to finish off the meal. The service was great, our server was super attentive, and knowledgeable. He definitely elevated the night for us. We were the last table that left, but didn't feel rushed or pushed out. Will definitely be returning in the future!“

It's one of our regular spots in the neighbourhood to have a delish local lager (or three, who are we kidding, right Dave?!) a munchie and chill on one of the best backyard patios in the city. “We had another memorable time at Blue Bovine this week prior to a concert. This was our 4th visit this year and we love everything about this beautiful restaurant. Amazing appetizers, sushis, mains, deserts, inspiring cocktails and impressive wine list. Service is attentive but discreet which is something we appreciate. Not perfect but we are all humans...Some extra points too for side table service for the profiteroles desert ! Last but not least, kudos to Executive Chef Sean for dropping by our table and asking our young daughter if she wanted something special prepared by the kitchen. In today's busy world, we unfortunately don't see such gestures anymore. This will only reinforce our loyalty towards Blue Bovine and continue to recommend it to friends.“
