“It was my first time here , and I must say the food was very good I had the Jalea (for those that don't know it is fried seafood with onion and tomato like salad on top which makes it good) and I also order Lomo saltado ( it is beef with vegetables stir fried like but much better ) the portions were good and generous , so people go and try the Peruvian food on this new restaurant“

“Excellent option for Peruvian food with a lot of local favourites for anyone that has had it abroad. Great variety of ceviche, and all the home style favourites are on their menu including lomo saltado (pictured) and pollo a la brasa. We also had the beef medallions which were so tender and flavourful, as well as the squid ink risotto which came loaded with seafood.“

“Better than a lot of places I've eaten in Peru! I love their ceviche which they only do on weekends, and they use proper Incan corn (not the dried stuff!). Love their tamales, and this is one of the few places I will eat an empanada at (since they're so sketchy normally).“

“Chotto Matte is a must try. The food was absolutely amazing. The Amazonian salmon is a culinary masterpiece, the wagyu beef gyoza magnificent, the tempura shrimp were amazing with the sauce provided, while the spicy chicken karaage wasn’t great flavor wise the texture was a bit off putting it was perfectly crunchy on the outside but a bit slimy on the inside, the pineapple pomegranate duck breast was delicious - extremely flavorful, though we were not a fan of the pork and shrimp gyoza they eagerly replaced them with another wagyu beef gyoza. The service is outstanding. The wait staff and busser were extremely attentive, our water glasses didn’t stay empty long the moment they notices they refilled without prompting and finished plates were removed from the table.“

“We got the shrimp bites, wedge salad, octopus al olivo, and corn fritters.The shrimp bites were awful and a really bad way to start off our meal. I was actually getting nervous that the rest of our dishes were going to be the same calibre. The shrimp was overcooked and under seasoned. The vermicelli noodles added zero flavour and unnecessary crunch given the shrimp is already breaded. It was just a bad dish and they should honestly take it off the menu.The rest of the food however is a 5/5. We got the wedge salad next which was dressed perfectly and had great crunch. The octopus al olivo was perfect. The octopus was thinly cut yet still perfectly cooked. The sauce was so good that we asked for extra crostinis so we could finish it. The corn fritters had a lovely texture, slight crunch but dense inside and pairs nicely with the slightly sour yogurt and sweet chutney.I would definitely come again. I would’ve also given them a 5 if it weren’t for the shrimp bites. I would recommend to anyone to give this place a try!“

“I’m be been dying to try this place for sometime now and I am glad I finally did. I was pretty impressed. I got a complete healthy meal in under 5 minutes with absolutely delicious fresh Ingredients. Nothing was processed, which is rare these days. It honestly hit the spot and was soooo flavourful. I can’t wait to go back. I got the Chifa short rib“

“I definitely recommend coming to Los Chicos!!! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was lovely, and the atmosphere is comfortable and fun. Everything tastes home made and you can tell there is so much passion put into all of it. Overall a great experience!! We will definitely be back to eat our way through the menu ?“

“An absolutely delicious meal in a very cozy restaurant and nice friendly chat with the owner. Tried the antichuchos, ceviche pescado, sopa de parihuela, and their pisco sour, all were amazing!!Interesting to note the owner had to close the restaurant to walk-in clients early even though there seemed to be empty tables still, which appears to generate negative reviews, but when asked he said it's because there's a large party at the back which demanded a lot of attention, so there weren't enough resources to run the rest of the restaurant at full capacity. So I would strongly suggest to call ahead and make sure that you have a confirmed table especially on a weekend night before going. Also, if the food takes some time to arrive, don't worry it is well worth the wait :)“

“If you are looking for the Peruvian option, you must ask for the menu. Food is average, I’ve heard that it has gone down in quality as in the past was better. “Food could be better . But it's good enough for something, not 100% Peruvian. Some of the dishes are americanized for sure .The vibe is great. Food is a bit overcharged. Service takes a while when busy . Understaffed for rush hours .Parking: Hard to find parking . But it's possibleKid-friendliness: No changing rooms in either washrooms making it extremely hard to dine in with babies or toddlers . High chairs available ✅️Wheelchair accessibility: No wheel chair access . The door is hard to open . But there are no stairs .“
