Subway in Oshawa

“I just wanted to post this here because I don't think it reflected accurately on the Skip app. I ordered a chicken sandwich and some cookies through the app with regular Italian bread. They didn't have any Italian bread so they upgraded me to herb and cheese for free and included an extra cookie and a note explaining the issue. It was honestly one of the best examples of customer service I've seen in years and I was touched with the effort put in.

Unfortunately, and I'm not happy to include this but it needs to be said, I am lactose intolerant so I ultimately received a sandwich that I couldn't eat and had to throw out and request a refund. In cases where food orders need to be changed I think that they will need to reach out to people to confirm these changes otherwise you risk invalidating the entire order.

I really do feel bad needing to point that out, I am being honest when I was really touched and impressed with the service provided and absolutely want to encourage they employees and management here to continue that level of effort and quality. For the effort alone I will absolutely order from here again and hope that this kind of issue won't crop up again in the future.

I mean this review more as reflection of their effort and potential then a critique of their products.

What a great visit! The staff was warm and welcoming, and they went out of their way to ensure my meal was just how I wanted. The sandwich itself was packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. I’m definitely a fan of this location!“

“My husband and I where hungry and wanted something to eat traveling through town today at about 3 pm and we choose this subway, the lady that made our subs was by far the best subway employee I have had a experience with, she was funny ,kind and really just made this subway vide awesome. Don't know why people are complaining about the service or the food because the way this lady made our subs was perfect no topping fell out, the way she put the meat in the sub it incased it. Perfect sub perfect everything.“

“We had a few bad experiences at this location in the past. Food was just medicore . However, we ordered recently with the buy one get one free footlong deal and did the online order and pickup. Didn't have to talk with anyone and just picked up our food. Food was made perfectly and tasted amazing. Price was definitely right. We will continue to go here now.“

“I had a great experience at Subway on the evening shift! The staff was super friendly and even though it was late, they were still full of energy. They made my sandwich exactly as I requested and everything was fresh. The place was clean and welcoming, which I really appreciated at that hour. “Went in after 6pm on a Monday. Husband is really fussy about the bun being fresh. I don't know the name of the lovely girl that served us but I did ask that she please make my husband happy with his sub as he had stale buns ar two other locations. “Patricia did a great job today getting me my sub and was attentive and helpful. She was also getting rudely spoke to by a customer and took it with ease. She was polite to the customer and did a great just job. I, myself would never act like that and I want to make it known her professionalism is outstanding and deserves to be recognized. She made a point to ask us how we liked our bacon, which I have never experienced before! She laughed with us and made suggestions when we asked for them. Raquel is awesome!
