Cute little bakery in Britannia neighbourhood right by the beach and bike trail. The service was friendly. I bought a chocolate croissant that was a day old and so discounted and it tasted very fresh. What I loved about it is that it was loaded with chocolate inside. I often find chocolate croissants don’t have enough chocolate in it but not this one. Discovered this little gem of a bakery on my way to an ice cream fix while visiting family who lives in Britannia Beach. Tasty homemade blueberry lime jam. Will be returning for more Bundt cake during my next visit to Ottawa.

I love that so many of their items are just honest to goodness, old school, like grandma used to make desserts and pastries, with the occasional new/unique treat thrown in to keep things interesting. I highly recommend their chocolate cake and ginger molasses cookies.
