Paul and his team have accomplished something that I thought we had lost. A throwback to a simpler time, with a simple and delicious menu to anyone with a European background. A local gem in Ottawa - will be going back as often as I can.
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Incredible food and atmosphere! My fiancé and I came here for the first time a few nights ago and we loved it. The spaetzle noodles are amazing and so is the schnitzel. I am German and I found the food very authentic, just like my mother’s and my Oma’s cooking. We also loved the pierogis. I cannot say enough about this restaurant. The food is great, the portions are huge - you certainly get your money’s worth and more. Service impeccable. Unusual elegant decor, very romantic - highly recommended for the “special date “ - yes, gentlemen- Valentine is coming ! Make a reservation, you won’t find a place like this in Ottawa .
