I cannot say enough about this restaurant. The food is great, the portions are huge - you certainly get your money’s worth and more. Service impeccable. Unusual elegant decor, very romantic - highly recommended for the “special date “ - yes, gentlemen- Valentine is coming ! Make a reservation, you won’t find a place like this in Ottawa .

Excellent food in huge portions! The schnitzel is amazing, bigger than your plate, so you can enjoy it as take-out! Comes with potato (mashed or potato salad) or spetzl (pasta) plus a cold or hot salad. The cold cucumber salad is divine! The chef came out to greet us and thank us for coming! Lovely, intimate ambience with lit candles and chandeliers! No alcohol is served but they have a near beer and homemade juices! We were too full for dessert but they offered a torte or mousse....read full review
