“I was craving shawarma and found this place on my way home from work. I'm new to Ottawa and my shawarma standards are high because my hometown has amazing shawarma that no other spots have come close to and I've tried many places already in Ottawa. Let me tell you, this place DID NOT DISSAPOINT! Amazing shawarma every bit of it! I will definitely be returning. The best I've had in Ottawa by FAR!“

“This was some solid shawarma. I was craving falafel and was stoked to see that they deep-fry it in front of you instead of microwaving it like a lot of other places do. They aren't stingy on the sauces and a special shoutout to whatever salad dressing and sesame sauce they use because those were both delicious. Nice clean restaurant as well, you can see they really care about a tidy work space. Staff were very kind and charismatic and got my order fast. Definitely will visit again.

I must however say, I think it's time you guys clean the Mango's signs both in the front and on the side near Scotia Bank.

The glass protection is great during this Covid Pandemic and arrows for pickup make us feal quite safe. I look forward to beeing able to dine again in the modified lounge/restaurant area again with my from my 10 peeps selected "entourage", and Love the fact that a rag with Sanitizer is left behind if customers want to wipe down their area. (This was prior to the recent lock down of limited in-dinning)

Finally, I hope the moth I noticed about a months ago has been solved. I've had moths before and Home Depot sells a bait and trap for that. I think the ultraviolet light they use was working the last time I went there. And my best budy and I got lucky with the weather to eat outside..

“The Fattoush is amazing but unfortunately since our return to work the portions for the fattoush salad are much smaller and for the price of almost $15 it’s difficult to justify. Prior to the pandemic the fattoush portion used to be worth while. I know prices are climbing in everything but dissapointed in the portion size.“

“We really enjoyed our first try of the shawarma from this place! Very friendly staff, clean and tidy location, generous portions, and great taste, with good value for what we paid! I love the garlic potatoes, they are tossed in actually garlic and herbs that just taste so fresh and fragrant. The sauce is nice and thick. The spicy garlic sauce is a nice touch too, not too spicy and adds a new flavor to the potatoes and sandwich. We were pleasantly surprised and will be back for sure :)“

“I was there for the end of a special beer event. The pop-up kitchen was delicious. The beer was amazing. They do a great job with these special events!! My time spilled into dinner service so I was then able to order the bison carpaccio- which was amazing as always. Also - don't miss out on their cocktails!! Menu with a large amount of different delicious choices. The review made by Ottawa Citizen one month after their opening is still very actual and totally worth the large amount of kudos received. Bravo to the very gentle owner's couple. The food is great and reminded us our meal taken in Kusadasi few years ago. We are going to use this spot on a very regular basis for sure.“

“Zero complaints about this spot. The lineup wasn`t bad at all considering the time at which I went (12:00 PM) and although they didn`t have what I wanted on the menu, they accommodated me. “The shop has a lot of 90s charm with lots of parking and inside seating. We ordered two chicken shawarmas and a beef donair shawarma.

Reading the reviews after the fact, I'm unsure what to think...my meat was heated up in a pan on the stove and not the microwave. The gentleman behind the counter used gloves to touch the veggies. We didn't get sick and it was all very tasty! The location was a bonus as it was close to the Ingenium.

Honestly i wasn’t expecting that from boustan but they just changed my thoughts about them yesterday.
They have a good customer service and best part is they doesn’t charge you for some stuffs which other restaurants would charge you .they will not say no to you but will let you know gently that it was extra but we are giving you ,so you can let us know next time before you pay
And food were good specially the amount of meat they give it’s fine to be honest ,compared to other places.
And you can hangout with friends here or can bring your family .
I will come again next week for sure“
