This restaurant is most accommodating in helping my son, who has gluten and soy sensitivities, find things he can eat. We ended up ripping up the containers and using them as spoons. We made a mess but it was delicious. “I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now, and it’s always been a great experience. It’s a small family-run restaurant serving Northern Vietnamese food, and the quality is amazing. The pho and rice dishes are delicious every time.

I usually get the 3-meat combo, but substitute the pork for extra chicken and beef instead. Their vegetarian spring rolls are also one of my favorites, and I always order a small pho broth on the side to sip on as I eat my meal.

Friendly service, authentic food, and consistently great flavors. 10/10 recommend!“

“Finally today, I decided to go back to Thai Express. I work just across the street and due to bad customer service from my previous experiences, I avoided the place. Today, I thought to give them another chance, and I thought to myself that I would just suck it up on the bad service. Well, I received burnt food for takeout. Customer service was finally improved because the regular girl cashier no longer worked there, but how could you possibly serve customers burnt food? You can smell it as you were cooking and you can see the blackness. There's a snow storm out so I didn't bother to go back, so I had to eat this terrible food I paid for. The franchisor of Thai Express really should be aware of this place, I have heard nothing but horrible things about them. And once again, they have proved everyone right.

UPDATE*** There's a new owner at this location and they have honestly changed this place around. The food is delicious, the customer service is superb. I am truly impressed with the new staff and happy to come back here over and over again. Thank you!“

“This was the BEST experience I’ve ever had at Thai Express. We only ordered one meal to share, and she brought us two plates right away without us even asking. That alone showed she was paying attention.

She brought the food to our table, made sure we had all our utensils and napkins, and was just super friendly the whole time. While we were eating, she noticed we didn’t have water and told us exactly where the cups, ice, and water were. It seems small, but it made a big difference. Thank you very much for the great service😄“

“The food was absolutely amazing. We had the mango salad, pad thai and spicy eggplant and seafood stir fry- all excellent. The red curry was a tad sweet but really wasn’t bad. I would recommend they clean the mirror behind the bar. All the dusty wine bottles weren’t pleasant to look at while dining. But the food and service were truly five stars.“

“We have been eating at Sabai Thai for years since we worked in the immediate area. The food is authentic, delicious and the portions are generous. This is right up there with other restaurants in terms of menu selection, but they blow everyone else away in terms of taste and value for money. I have been to many Thai express during the road trips across East Ontario and Quebec and I always expect the same taste for my Pad Thai. However, the tastes are all slightly different from restaurant to restaurant. This restaurants gives the taste that I expect and I believe this is what chain restaurants value the most.

Plus, the kitchen area and tables are always kept clean, staff is quite but very professional.“
