“I was there for the end of a special beer event. The pop-up kitchen was delicious. The beer was amazing. They do a great job with these special events!! My time spilled into dinner service so I was then able to order the bison carpaccio- which was amazing as always. Also - don't miss out on their cocktails!! Definitely my favourite restaurant in Ottawa!!“

“We took the ATV tour at Strathmere and it was great! Ali (the tour guide) was very friendly and made sure that we were comfortable and safe with using the ATVs. Highly recommend if you're a beginner and are looking to try an ATV for the first time!🙂“

“The pasta was 100% worth it! Everything was delicious, I personally didn't enjoy the grapefruit on the panna cotta but I admit that it was objectively good. If you are going for a date though, the bar might be a better option, because with the music and the noise, the tables might set you a bit far apart if you want to talk. No complaints. 9.8/10!“

“Amazing place. I will absolutely be coming back. One of the best smokehouses I have been to. Our server was incredibly friendly and personable. The food was presented to us in a professional manner , and you could tell that a lot of care and pride goes into their food. I had the meat platter which was a mountain of food. The portion sizes were unbelievable. The smoked wings were to die for, and if you get ribs, make sure to upgrade to beef. Bbq sauce was delicious, cornbread was delightful, the mac and cheese was creamy and tastefully topped with pulled pork.
If you like meat, this is the place to come to. You won't regret it.“

“I caught up with an old friend today for lunch and we couldn't have picked a better restaurant. The food was delicious and the margaritas amazing - both the regular one and the strawberry one. The decor is charming, fun and colourful. Our server took good care of us. We will definitely be back!“

“I hosted my son's baptism party at LaFavorita. We were a group of 40. At first, I wasn't sure what to expect but at the end, they exceeded all my expectations. Nick was so nice and pleasant to work with from beginning to the end. He made sure I got everything I asked for. All staff (especially George) were fantastic and attentive to guests. The quality of food was TOP. We did family style platters and there was so much food. If you are looking for a spot to host your event, don't look any further. You will not be disappointed.“

“The food is very good and the waitress on Saturday was really great. Very attentive and really quick. The beer arrived 1 minute after ordering and the food arrived 15 minutes later. Unfortunately it wasn't quite the same on another evening, so no full marks. We really liked the selection of beers.“
