“I was wandering around the food court at the mall in Pickering, looking for something to eat. Edo Japan caught my attention so I tried their Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box and it was really good, better than I expected! It was freshly cooked to order and had really nice flavours with generous portions. The bento box meal also included California rolls, gyoza, and a drink. Great deal, good food! I'll be back!“

“I visited Mary Brown’s today (July 15th) around 6:30 PM. The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and fresh. The person working as the cook did an amazing job. He is clearly hardworking, smart, and always maintains high standards. I visit this location frequently, and every time he’s working, the food and service are consistently excellent. I’m always satisfied with his work and truly appreciate the effort he puts in. He definitely deserves recognition!“

“Vishal, (the manager) at this location keeps the store very clean. He is constantly wiping surfaces and handling food safely. It makes you feel comfortable to know that your food is being handled properly.

He is kind and courteous and definitely knowledgeable about the various items.

“Had falafel for the first time at this place and they blew me away. It was freshly made infront of me and absolutely delicious. Also had chicken shawarma salad which was very good as well. Great place if you want fresh good quality food.

“Yesterday was my very first time trying Chick N Joy. I decided to order home delivery. I have to say I'm surprised of the portion sizes, I wasn't expecting it to be so much. I like that the meals are priced right for the portion. I really enjoyed the golden crispy fries, and also the macaroni salad. I didn't enjoy the Homemade Butter Biscuit, it felt more like bread that was steamed, but otherwise tasted okay. I was looking for more of a tea biscuit texture. The chicken skin was very salty, but the chicken was ok (for the white meat), but as for the dark meat I didn't really enjoy it as if felt a little bit under cooked.“

I've been a returning customer since they opened in Pickering, and have never once been disappointed. The burgeds are cooked perfectly, the topics are always fresh, and the fries are my absolute favorite. Not to mention, the portions are insanely generous. I swear these dudes have to be losing money, but they never change. Sub $30 to feed two people is a fantastic value in my eyes. Cheaper than McDonalds and quality that devastates them every day of the week. Not to mention, it's always faster to get my food? Kid-friendliness: Brought my friends and his kids here for lunch, both of who are very indecisive with food. The owner was so kind to them and helped them decide on what to eat when even myself and their father couldn't. Relaly appreciated his patience as we figured out their meals. They loved the food too!

Parking: Location is okay! They're on the side of the plaza that is typically much easier to park in.
