“This was our last stop during our self guided wine tour. We live in Kingston so the location was perfect to cover half the distance of our drive home. It was also a great place to have some wood-fired pizzas to finish the day. The smoke of the fire was the first thing I noticed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We also discovered their delicious Sangria Spritz, a fruity mix that is really nice to drink with ice.“

“My friend and I were camping in the area and stopped into Picton during the rain. We were looking for casual dining and that’s what we received. Laid back, friendly and let me tell you (!!!) the fries were perfect and the onion rings were amazing!!! The young lady Amelia was a lovely server and we had a lovely chat. Kyde was also kind and hard working. We also enjoyed learning about their dedication to their year round customers and their section dedicated to those who hold them up in the off season. Very impressed with this place outside of Picton on the road to Sandbanks!!! Many blessings“

“Wedding review! Let’s first talk about Rikki and her team - WOW, what a group of absolute pros! Rikki is outstanding at her job and we could not have asked for a better event coordinator. Rikki helped expertly guide us through the planning process, providing recommendations, guidance, and answering any questions we had with genuine care. I never felt like a bother to her as she was truly happy to help. Thank you so much Rikki and team!! As for the venue itself - Waupoos is truly stunning and you will not regret booking your wedding here. The backdrop of Lake Ontario and vineyards is absolutely stunning and multiple guests commented on how beautiful it all was. Plus, the food is some of the best I have ever had (and Chef accommodated my gluten and dairy allergy + everyone else’s restrictions/preferences as well). People are still talking about his brisket! Seriously, we could not have asked for anything more and 100% recommend Waupoos Estates!“

“This is our second stay at the Empress Inn and Suite. We finally found the perfect place to fully enjoy Sandbanks. My family and I find the room spacious for 4 people. The room is clean, large and functional! We are very happy to be able to shower and sleep in a comfortable bed after a day at the beach. We also like to have a little drink on the terrace at the end of the day!

“First time there today, won't be my last! Burger had amazing flavor! Bun was fresh! 🍔 My Son had the chicken fingers. Hand dipped! None of that frozen stuff here! He raved about them! Fries were seasoned to perfection 👌 I snuck a sip of his chocolate shake, which made me regret not getting one myself. 😔 Next time. Lol. Staff is very friendly & efficient!“
