“My husband and I always wanted to try hotpot. First time here and the food was simply amazing. We had the porkp Bone broth. So rich in flavor. The restaurant has a complimentary snack bar and sauce section. The meat selection was so vast. The meat too was very fresh. All the staff were very friendly, especially our server Cindy. Can't wait to go again. Our new favorite spot.“

“Failsafe malatang place that I keep going back every time I try new malatang places. MalaTown is a small business and their broth and sauce warms your heart and soul. It hits the spot every time.
You select the ingredients you want and you can customize the spice level, the numbness level, add/remove green onion, garlic and/or cilantro.
If your total order is over $25, you get a free drink and there is a wide variety of drinks!“

“I recently dined at this amazing hot pot restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for gathering with friends. The broth was rich and flavorful, offering both spicy and mild options. The ingredients were fresh, especially the thinly sliced beef and crisp vegetables. I loved the variety of dipping sauces that added so much taste to every bite. The service was attentive and friendly, making sure our table always had everything we needed. Overall, it was a delicious and memorable meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys authentic hot pot.“

“This hotpot restaurant serves authentic old Beijing-style mutton hotpot. I highly recommend trying the clear broth base—it really brings out the meat’s natural flavor. The sesame sauce is also very authentic, and the pickled garlic adds a sweet-and-sour touch that perfectly cuts through the richness.“

“It's an interesting experience with the conveyor belt system, where you can get most of the staples like veggies, fish balls, some seafood, mushrooms, etc. Unfortunately, nothing is labelled, so unless you know what you're looking at or are brave enough to try something new, some of the dishes circling around will remain mysteries. The meat was brought directly to your table by staff, and they were attentive enough for us to ask for more several times, and for them to refill our broth. I did like how each person had an individual soup, though it did mean each person had to pay $5-$8 dollars more. Overall, it was something new and fun to try once, but if you took away the conveyor belt, it'd be at best considered average for the price.
Vegetarian options: Has some veggie options, not as much as some other hotpot restaurants.
Parking: Don't bother trying to find parking above ground when it's busy, go into the underground, you'll find a spot much faster.“

“Arrived slightly before 12PM with my girlfriend and managed to get our names first on the waitlist. Promptly after, it started getting packed with tons of people signing up for the waitlist. Was very surprised to see how busy it was on a Wednesday afternoon at opening.
We both went for the $26.99 AYCE lunch special. Soup bases are included in the price and you can choose up to 2 different bases. Items to choose from were a bit limited from a protein perspective, but we were more than happy to inhale beef brisket slices and seafood. Veggies and sides were great too. Ice cream cone at the end was great and the perfect way to end the meal. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the Hokkaido pudding.
Service was exceptional. Staff members were very attentive, consistently topping up our soup pots, pouring water for us, and getting our food orders. Seating time is limited to 1 hour and 45 minutes. Ample time in my opinion.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Daimaru. I highly recommend it, especially for their lunch special. We both ate for just under $60 including a tip!“

“This place has to be the most marvellous hot pot place I’ve been to. Ranging from their mouth watering beef to their dessert that melts in your mouth. This place is truly astonishing and in my opinion a once in a lifetime experience. Not only were their food awesome but their staff were equally kind, patient and professional.“

“The taste is pretty good, the portions are huge, and the prices are very reasonable.
It's a pity that I didn't get the roast chicken, but I got the pepper and sesame chicken, which has a very special taste.
I highly recommend the sauerkraut pot. The more you cook it, the better it tastes. The meatballs inside are super fragrant.
Parking: Right at the door“

“This Chinese restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food was beyond delicious — every dish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The place was also very clean and well-kept, and I really appreciated that there was no strong smell of bleach or cleaning products in the air. Everything felt fresh, welcoming, and enjoyable. Highly recommend!“

Vibe 4/5
New restaurant located near Victoria Park and Mcnioll. They specialize in Hunan湖南 or hubei湖北 food.
Summarize: most dishes are spicy and use more fatty meat. But flavor is great, definitely ate more rice than expected 😂
They currently have a grand opening special! 12% off!“

“Went there for dinner over the weekend. It's a large restaurant and easy to get a table. The restaurant bills itself as a hot pot restaurant and that is what the four of us had. The hotpot ingredients were good. Not spectacular. In hindsight, a different soup base would have been better tasting. We had the kitchen stir fry the lobster for an extra cost and it was very well done, as was the clay pot rice dish that came with the set dinner. Also with the dinner was a plate of chicken wings and french fries which was very tasty with whole dried peppers in a Szechuan style stir fry style. All of us thought that the kitchen cooked food was very good and better than the hot pot. The exception may be the deep fried milk which was ok and was served too soon as we were still munching through our food. The raw eggs that several of us ordered too a bit long to arrive at the table. Other than that, the service was quite good. We all said that next time we go back, that we will only get the items from the kitchen as it was quite well done.“

“I will be very fair about my experience. We went there at 8:30pm. There were only 3 table of customers which included us. We ate til 10:30pm. Here is why.
The first order came fairly quick, but the 2nd order took a lot longer. We learnt our lesson so we immediately made 3rd order but still took a long time. That’s why we ate for 2 hours. I actually got hungrier waiting for the 2nd.
I would recommend you make large order on your first, but then again you are running the risk of your food getting cold but trust me, your 2nd order will come a lot later. You will have to push the waitress for it or your 2nd order will take forever to come.
3 table 1 waitress and the kitchen is having a hard time to keep up. If you decided to go and see 3+ table of customers, then you better make large order on your first.
Now serving speed aside, their food is great. But some food item on the menu is out of stock which is a bit disappointing.
I wanted to give 3 star but all you can eat skewer is pretty rare and besides I did ate over 60 skewers myself and wasn’t kicked out.
Here are some of the things, expect certain orders end up not coming.
They have a rule, they’d start charging over 100g worth of food not eaten. So before you make your order, ask the waitress if all orders came. That way you can keep track of your orders. (Some order end up not coming then you can reorder it or skip it)
It’s been 2 hours since I left and no stomach ache so the foods are fine.
It is $29.99 all you can eat starting 8:30pm which is reasonable. I would rate it 3.7 which is fairly close to the average rating.
I would definitely revisit the place some time in the future, since the serving speed, lost order and lack of supply can all be fixed by making huge order on the first one.
But remember don’t waste food even though it is all you can eat, that’s just courtesy and respect for foods.“

“My brother's friend told him about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try today. The congee and rice noodle rolls tasted fresh and delicious! The only downfall was that servers were inattentive to when I wanted to place my order.“
