“I can't help feeling that there could be some extra vegan/vegetarian options for stewing. Having said that, there is a few tofus, lifts of veggies and roots and noodles.
We had the mushroom broth and the tomatoes broth.
I suggest one or three other as the spicy tomato will overShadow the mushroom.
It was absolutely delicious, fresh, and friendly. We absolutely will be going back. My only complaint is i wish there were a couple more extra veggie options. And i would say a 4.7 as is not a 4. I just don't have that option lol“

“Food was decent, we got the sukiyaki and beef bone broth, they were both a bit too salty for my preference and had to keep chugging water. The meat quality was good, and overall quality of the food was good. I felt that the sauce bar and utensils could have been cleaner, and dispensable chopsticks should be used. Their chopsticks had stains as it was wood and didn't feel thay sanitary.
Only 1 server was around but the restaurant was very empty on a thurs night. The ice cream at the end was good.“

“Amazing make-your-own hotpot spot in Toronto!
The staff here is beyond kind and the ingredients are all very fresh. The pricing is reasonable as well, and they have all amenities such as forks for those who cannot use chopsticks, a sauce bar and aprons to protect your clothes - so cute !!
Definitely an experience worth having and their complimentary ice cream at the end is like a reward after a filling meal 😋“

“Kindest staff and best food ever. I remeber when I first came here with my friends and the staff were super nice and attentive the entire time, moreover, the hair tie they gave me was super strong and long lasting but I lost it. I came in today just to ask if I could have the hair tie again since it was so good and the staff gave me an entire pack of them :). Always 10/10 service food and everything overall.“

“This is my 3rd time dining in this beef hotpot restaurant. I also take my friends and colleagues here, and they all like the food. The beef is extremely fresh and the price is quite reasonable. I recommend the rib eye/sirloin and chunk slices. Their beef fried rice is always mouth-watering. 2-3 people is the ideal group size for this restaurant. I highly recommend it.“

“Wonderful spot. We came to this spot with a very tired kid and they treated us like family. At one point my kid started crying and the waitress bought her a juice while the owner turned on the movie “sing.” The food is delicious, especially the ribs and pork belly. Thank you so much!“

“That stir-fried beef with green chili peppers was actually incredible, but I think I was the best thing on the menu tonight. Catching the Raptors game was just the warm-up, so if you are a cute guy who wants to keep the energy going, speak up.“

“There’s no minimum weigh requirement, pick everything you like and how much you want, the soup is so light and yummy, Ingredients are fresh!
The price is very affordable compared to other shop: 3.70 per 100g.
This place should be more crowded and high rated! Recommend“

“Finally lively AYCE hotpot with wagyu.
Liuyishou is a popular outfit for traditional hotpot, and here in the GTA they have long moved to AYCE format. This Scarborough location has been around for a long time as seen by the dated interior. Nonetheless it’s still popular with some good promos to compete among the huge swath of Asian restaurants in this plaza. We chose an array of hotpot broths including the house special spicy, sukiyaki, pork bone broth & tomato soup.
We came here to celebrate a family occasion, and Liuyishou delivered with its good selection of broths, meats, seafood, and veggies. The $8 Wagyu add-on on weekend was a nice upgrade—thinly sliced, tender, and worth trying if you want something a bit more indulgent. The $3.99 all-you-can-drink station was a pleasant surprise too, making it easy to keep refilling without thinking twice. Service was quick even despite it being relatively busy and a bit loud during dinner peak.
Note the pricing per adult ($34.99 weekend dinner) excludes the soup base which is about $17 for a large shareable pot or $9 for an individual sized pot per guest so the bill can rack up. The wagyu and drinks are add-ons too. They do have a 2 adult + 1 kid family combo for $73.99 on weekends with one drink pitcher excluding soup base. Dessert is included such as taro soft serve, rice ball soup & cold jelly.
Skip it or hit it? Hit it for a casual, authentic hotpot experience.“
