“I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews. I’ve been to Hong Kong and this is the closest to the authentic hot pot experience. All you can eat and the food was delicious. Happily dine here again!! Roughly 40-50$ for all you can eat!“

“Overall, my experience was just okay.
The environment was pleasant and clean, and the general flavor of the dishes was acceptable. No major complaints on the ambiance or basic taste.
However, the main issue was the freshness of the food. The meat did not seem as fresh as I would have liked, and some of the cold dishes also tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. This significantly detracted from the meal's quality.
If the kitchen can address the freshness of their ingredients, particularly the meat and cold appetizers, this restaurant would definitely earn a higher rating.
Would you like me to make any adjustments to this review before you post it?“

“Went tonight for dinner.and never had any experience with hot pot. Servers were excellent and helpful, food was very.good and we had a great time. Is bit on pricey side and they automatically add a.tip; as an FYI.“

“This place is a winter gem in Toronto! The copper pot brings instant cozy vibes – perfect for friends and family.
The star? AAA beef unlimited – beautifully marbled, tender, and juicy. You also get lamb, fatty beef, and brisket. No skimping here. The free clear broth (with ginger, scallions, goji berries) lets the quality meat shine, and their homemade sesame sauce with leek flower, tofu curd, and chili oil is pure magic.
Don’t miss Toronto’s only sweetened garlic – sweet, tangy, and cuts through the richness. Also try the black tripe ($8.99, limited) – crispy and delicious.
All-you-can-eat without breaking the bank. Warm, satisfying, and full of Beijing soul. Already dreaming of that sesame sauce!“

“Haru shabu shabu has a large selection of soup base, appetizers, meats, and veggies. We had the spicy and sukiyaki base and enjoyed both. With a green P parking across the street and subway station in the building, it’s super accessible. We didn’t have any problems with wait times around lunch time. Overall a great dining experience!“

“It’s been a long time since my last visit. The service is still top-notch, but the dinner premium set has noticeably fewer food options now. The 4-broth pot is too small, and the vegetables are cut so long that it's really hard to fit them into the compartments to cook. The most frustrating part is that they got rid of the crème brûlée and milk pudding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The new dessert replacements just don't taste very good!!!!!!!!!
Strongly recommend bringing back the milk pudding and crème brûlée!!!!!!!!!“

“Great food & service however the meal was ruined as bugs were running around our table which we noticed once we were done eating, we flagged it to the waiter but he did not seem to care and said he would tell the owner.
Edit: The manager, Luke reached out with a solution that worked for both of us. Really appreciate the work-around as a-lot of restaurants would usually just ignore this type of review. They also let me know this is a one off occurrence and practices are in place to avoid this situation again.“

“I had a great time eating the hot pot. The waitresses are very helpful and provide good services. She explained how the menu works and helped to order the food. I also got the senior discount. We made sure not to waste any food. The bill comes to $87, with 2 AYCE and two small soup bases. I gave $20 tips for the good service.“

“Almost 5/5, but honestly the most impressive Northern Chinese food in GTA.
Guo bao rou was the best I’ve had in a while. It’s really soft yet crispy and chewy.
The noodle was of great quality but just not my preference. For Koreans, the sauce tastes like 된장+쌈장.
Also ordered yang chow fried rice, but it was made out of a very fresh-out-of-cooker rice with expected ingredients missing - shrimp, pork, etc. Didn’t taste ‘bad’ but definitely home-y taste.
Regardless, I will be back for sure for the guo bao rou!!!“

“I really don't regret it. Of all the Korean restaurants I've been to, the food service and visuals were all the best!! I was impressed after taking a bite. I think I will have a fun trip thanks to Deokman :) May you prosper~!!
I especially recommend squid fried rice to those who like spicy food.!!“

“Food is decent and quite authentic Hunan style. The smoked bacon was not very smoky like Chang De style. Bamboo shoot is tender and tasty. Rice noodle chewy and tasty. Sticky rice ball in the boring Changsha style but still good
Service was fast and vibe very homey“

“I will be very fair about my experience. We went there at 8:30pm. There were only 3 table of customers which included us. We ate til 10:30pm. Here is why.
The first order came fairly quick, but the 2nd order took a lot longer. We learnt our lesson so we immediately made 3rd order but still took a long time. That’s why we ate for 2 hours. I actually got hungrier waiting for the 2nd.
I would recommend you make large order on your first, but then again you are running the risk of your food getting cold but trust me, your 2nd order will come a lot later. You will have to push the waitress for it or your 2nd order will take forever to come.
3 table 1 waitress and the kitchen is having a hard time to keep up. If you decided to go and see 3+ table of customers, then you better make large order on your first.
Now serving speed aside, their food is great. But some food item on the menu is out of stock which is a bit disappointing.
I wanted to give 3 star but all you can eat skewer is pretty rare and besides I did ate over 60 skewers myself and wasn’t kicked out.
Here are some of the things, expect certain orders end up not coming.
They have a rule, they’d start charging over 100g worth of food not eaten. So before you make your order, ask the waitress if all orders came. That way you can keep track of your orders. (Some order end up not coming then you can reorder it or skip it)
It’s been 2 hours since I left and no stomach ache so the foods are fine.
It is $29.99 all you can eat starting 8:30pm which is reasonable. I would rate it 3.7 which is fairly close to the average rating.
I would definitely revisit the place some time in the future, since the serving speed, lost order and lack of supply can all be fixed by making huge order on the first one.
But remember don’t waste food even though it is all you can eat, that’s just courtesy and respect for foods.“
