“My husband and I always wanted to try hotpot. First time here and the food was simply amazing. We had the porkp Bone broth. So rich in flavor. The restaurant has a complimentary snack bar and sauce section. The meat selection was so vast. The meat too was very fresh. All the staff were very friendly, especially our server Cindy. Can't wait to go again. Our new favorite spot.“

“This place is literally the last of it's kind in Toronto. While all hotpot places are focusing on delivering more northern China style flavours and dishes, Kim Tao is the only one still doing HK style hotpot. I absolutely love their selection of food, and now even more so when they are the only hotpot place serving up all this delicious cooked dim sum dishes this late in the evening.“

“Tasty pot is the best option for when you're feeling hot pot, but you don't want AYCE. The portions are very generous, so you're still getting tons of food for around $20. There are a variety of pots to choose from, each with a different soup base and preloaded with various items like beef, seafood, tofu, veggies, rice cakes etc. The items differ for each pot. My favourites are the Taiwanese pot and the tomato one depending on whether I'm in the mood for something with a kick. The tomato one is very comforting but the Taiwanese one has that sa cha flavour which I love but can be naturally spicy for some. You can actually also adjust the spice level of your soup base when you are ordering. We love coming here all year round, but especially when it gets cold.

“Haven't had hot pot out of home for a very long time.
Love how it's not all you can eat. So. Tried it.
Fresh ingredients. Good service. Definetly a good meal and I think the bill comes out lower than all you can eat.
Likely looking to return again soon.
Recommended for both large and small group.“

“I love this place, the food is so good and spicy the staff is wonderful and it’s open late! However t they don’t have any meat slices or huge Ingredient selections. Also the ingredients don’t have any English names on it so it’s difficult to figure out what’s in what if you have any dietary restrictions. The place is also super clean but pretty tiny.“

“Derek was the highlight of our girls’ night out! He was funny, attentive, and gave the best suggestions. Aside from the amazing service, the food was also amazing with lots of variety even for the classic beef selection. It was a fun experience and highly recommend for those who want a break from the traditional dinner. We also were celebrating our friend’s birthday and they even provided a really nice birthday surprise as well. We were all stuffed by the end of the day. 10/10 would recommend.“

“I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant, enjoying their incredible selection of fresh seafood for hotpot. The two-person seafood set is a great deal at $129.99, with generous portions of high-quality ingredients, including fresh fish slices, tender meat, and a variety of seafood. Everything was super fresh, and the presentation was impressive.
What makes this place even better is their lowest dine-in AYCE (All You Can Eat) option for just $19.99! It’s hard to find such great value for this price in the area. The service was prompt, and the ambiance was relaxing, making it a perfect spot for a casual yet delicious meal. Highly recommended!“

“Wow - an amazing Thai restaurant just north off Promenade Mall. My friend had a food restrictions that they were very kind to accommodate and provided us with recommendations as well.
Our server Ploy - was fantastic, she provided recommendations and let us know which dishes could be made within our food restrictions. The drinks were delicious and very pretty too! We ordered the Yao Warat & Khlong Thom!
For our meal we ordered:
Pad See Ew (veggie) - the noodles were soft and PACKED with flavour!
Tom Kha (veggie) soup with a lovely creamy coconut flavouring! Mixed Veggie (stir fry) - great bite, not over-cooked!
Pineapple Fried Rice (ohhh I even enjoyed the slight sweetness of the pineapple in the savour rice)
Karee Soft Shell crab (THIS IS SO So SOOO GOOD - a MUST TRY).
The place is clean and spacious - good for dine alone or a group!
Each EAT BKK location - is a bit different to the others, this one is WORTH the trip over to Centre & Bathurst.
Lots of free parking available!“

“We had a wonderful shabu shabu experience at this restaurant and their A5 Wagyu option is definitely a must try. It’s located inside the mall together with Shinta BBQ. Parking is available and they can validate your ticket for two hours. Staff are friendly!“

“My husband and I visited Side by Side Hotpot for a casual lunch in Markham. The service was wonderful and the staff were super accommodating while teaching us how Hotpot works! We don’t speak Mandarin or Cantonese, yet our server was very patient with us and even used Google Translate to ensure we were taken care of. She was willing to spend extra time with our table and really put in the effort. We’re so thankful! The conveyer belt winds throughout the restaurant and passes by each table with various ingredients that customers may want to add to their soups. This was really cool! The food itself was descent and there’s a section to create your own dipping sauces. The menu is easy to understand and has English titles written in smaller font. Price is a bit high, although it was nice to visit for the experience. We’d love to come by again next time we’re in the area!“

“I visited Daimaru a little while back. There was a bit of a line when we arrived, so the hostess put us on a waiting list. The list moved fairly quickly, and we were seated in a booth. Our server was very lovely, she walked us through the menu’s. She was very attentive and asked us if we needed anything.
We got their premium menu, and ordered the tomato & sukiyaki broth. This is my first time trying sukiyaki, it has a sweet & salty flavour which balances each other out. The meats & seafood were all super fresh, very high quality. Overall, lovely experience!“

“I tried out this place as suggested by google. The place is very spacious, nicely decorated. Service is good. However, the hotpot is just average compared to other Chinese hotpot restaurants. I would probably comeback.
I didn’t know that this is an AYCE hotpot restaurant. We spent around $50-$60 per person. Not bad for hotpot AYCE.“

“The taste is pretty good, the portions are huge, and the prices are very reasonable.
It's a pity that I didn't get the roast chicken, but I got the pepper and sesame chicken, which has a very special taste.
I highly recommend the sauerkraut pot. The more you cook it, the better it tastes. The meatballs inside are super fragrant.
Parking: Right at the door“

“Clean-tasting and spicy boiled fish, flavourful sesame noodles, the servers and owner were welcoming and attentive. We brought our toddler with us and he was offered a high seat immediately and utensils. He also enjoyed the sesame noodles. A lovely place to eat at!“

If you’re craving a tasty malatang and don’t mind a bit of heat, Zhang Liang Malatang is definitely worth a visit!“

“The DURIAN PANCAKE/bun/cheese cake was REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD!! That’s what I came for.
The durian cheese cake and the overall price is the reason I rated this place 4 stars, if no durian cheese cake would have been 3 stars as there wouldn’t have been anything stand-out, needing to return.
The other dishes we ordered were ok, good enough.
The braised short ribs were ok.. lacked flavour, the seasoning wasn’t fresh enough
The shredded potatoe had a very different and unexpected flavour and texture… really soft texture
The Wontons were just wontons as expected in this style of food.
The cold noodles tasted good.
We order 5 dishes for a table of 2. Bill was $54 before tip… so pretty cheap
Parking: Tons of space in the place during dinner time“

“I really don't regret it. Of all the Korean restaurants I've been to, the food service and visuals were all the best!! I was impressed after taking a bite. I think I will have a fun trip thanks to Deokman :) May you prosper~!!
I especially recommend squid fried rice to those who like spicy food.!!“

“The price is still very affordable. What kind of bike do you want at the price of AYCE? There are also side dishes to choose from. The service is also good, but the speed of serving is relatively limited. It's OK today on weekdays, but it was slower when I came on weekends...“

“I live 10 minutes away and not knowing they serve dim sum until today. I came to know of it through get together with some ex-colleagues on a Friday lunch. It’s not a well known dim sum restaurant that I usually go to, but I was surprised by the quality, price and atmosphere. Since it’s not well known yet, there was no wait time and the atmosphere and decor was comfortable and traditional Chinese.
The dim sums were tasty and fresh, 蝦餃, 燒賣 and 蝦腸 were filled with juicy large shrimps. It’s compatible with some top notch restaurants in my opinion. Yet the price was very competitive, same cash deal of $5.28 on all regular dim sums on weekdays 9:30am - 2:30pm and $6:18 on weekends during same lunch time. Definitely will go back to try out the rest of the menu. I’m not much a hot pot fan so no opinion on this area that they specialize on.“
