Awesome place. I haven't had celiac friendly sushi for a very long time. I am very sensitive and get really sick if I eat any gluten or even something cross-contaminated. Tomo Japanese Restaurant was a great experience in terms of food, service, atmosphere, and above all safety for me and my son. People with Celiac and NCGS, Tomo is a really nice place with safe gluten-free food, highly recommended. :)

Tomo Sushi Richmond Hill offers a memorable dining experience with great atmosphere, well decorated booths, and great privacy. Service is consistently praised as amazing, professional, and efficient with a smile, though some note a wait staff that patrols the floor. The food includes delicious miso soup, lovely tea, nice tasting detail in the maki, and fine cut cucumber for texture. The Popular Combo is available, but the price is on the higher end for the quality. The crunchy noodle soup is an all-time favorite for many. The set menu price is excellent and very reasonable for the quality and portion. Guests often feel truly welcomed and taken care of, with some invited to a private room for a special experience. The dessert ice cream at the end is amazing. This restaurant is perfect for hosting and treating someone special, and many definitely come back. Note that they are closed for part of March for renovations.
