“We’re visiting in the offseason and after striking out at some of the restaurants in town, we came here more by default than anything, as we’re staying at the hotel. So I went in with pretty low expectations, which thankfully were well surpassed. Angie was the only server working the whole restaurant and she did so without breaking a sweat - a true pro. And our food was very good - my blackened mahi mahi was cooked perfectly. The prices were reasonable and the location couldn’t be beat as we were staying two floors above. A solid 5 star experience.”

“This little pub has been owned by the same family for 74 years . The owner is a musician and runs the bar like a music venue first . A music venue that happens to have 2 exceptional bars . Inside pub and an outside Tiki bar . Both bars have a stage and present outstanding live bands . NOTE * WE DID NOT OPEN THIS SUMMER (2020) It just wasn’t right . Wasn’t safe due to COVID-19 So we wait. I am painting and redecorating ,improving sound and lights and improving all the little thing that add up to an exciting reopening when the pandemic ends . I miss playing in the band with my friends in the Dog Bros.Band ! I miss our patrons . This little pub is like the family farm , so it will reopen when the laws allow .”

“My friends and I went to thousand islands for a few days and stayed in an airbnb. We couldn't find any restaurants nearby except for Rapid Valley so we decided to try it out and it was worth it. The building itself was clean and comfortable, the service was perfect but the best part was the food. I got the fried chicken sandwich which was amazing. The fries lacked some salt but there was salt provided so that wasn't an issue. One of my friends got the fish and chips which also tasted really good but was really oily which you would expect. My other friend got the chicken strips which were also good. My other friend also got the fried chicken sandwich. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to come here.”

“We chose Windows on the Bay, because it was highly rated and on the water. We were celebrating our 50th Anniversary with our son and his wife. We were able to sit on the deck, look out at the water and the boaters, and enjoyed a fantastic meal with great service. We did not need a reservation. Because other restaurants where we planned to eat on Sunday night were closed, we ate at Windows again and had the same enjoyable meal and service. Both waitresses were very efficient and personable. The food was great. As we are from Long Island, NY, we were used to paying a lot more for that kind of great meal.”

“Nice place, accommodating of families. That had indoor seating with window A/C. The food was good and at the price point I would expect in a tourist town during the summer. I found the service to be good. I recommend them and would definitely go back.”

“Pizza is excellent and far superior to any others in town. Shop is casual if not sparse and service seems to be better cooks than dealing with people. Big drawback is their cash only policy - though quaint, I'm sure is losing them alot of customers”

“😊I have eaten here many times, especially summer and deep into fall. We bring family. We bring friends from out of state. We find the menu consistently creative, lots of choices, many things to like. Hard to pick a favorite, but like fish tacos and paninis, plus apps. Some of the desserts can be just awesome. I'll be there again at least several times this summer. Always find the people nice and welcoming. I have had lunch (mostly) and dinner, and even met for business of a non-profit there. It is a favorite place on the river.”
