“I had tried some gluten free bread options at some local grocery chains - yuck! That’s all I can say. I am not a gluten- free expert, as I am only starting to treat my ailments through experimentation, but let me tell you this - I am very happy with the product from Winnie’s! I went in and was promptly greeted, and the young lady that helped me was so pleasant and patient while I asked a million questions. I purchased a standard gluten/dairy free loaf of white bread. When I got home, I cut myself a generous slice, popped it in the toaster and buttered it. I had very low expectations to be honest, but what do you know… IT WAS FANTASTIC! I would go as far to say that’s it’s better than grocery store (gluten filled) bread. I can finally have a toasted tomato sandwich again 🤗 Will definitely be back!“

“We were a group that tried almost one of everything on the menu. Escargot, Caesar Salad, Lamb, Duck, Coq au vin, Scallops, a beautiful French wine and to finish Creme Brulee, Coffee and Cognac. It was all so good. The flavours were out of this world. And the service couldn't be better. I wish I remembered the name of the lady that served us. She was very well informed and very attentive. “As an avid pizza lover (I have a tattoo that says pizzaprincess) this place hit it out of the park. Not only was it some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time you can tell the lady working the counter, who also made my pizza, made it with love and care.
I made a special request that was quite unusual to celebrate years of service for a coworker. Having her spell the number on the pizza in pepperoni. She happily took my request and took so much care in making sure I was happy with it. Although I didn’t try one, the cannoli looked absolutely amazing and was calling my name from the display case. I've had the pleasure of having an assortment of her cookies and macarons and let me tell you - WOW! Not only are her macarons gorgeous and perfectly proportioned, the flavors are on point! There is such an assortment of cookies as well you will not be disappointed. My husband and I absolutely love the salted chocolate cookies, just perfection. “This was our first time at Del's and definitely won't be our last. The service was so great, our server, Lily, was so friendly and attentive. We ordered the family dinner for 4 and wow, it was outstanding. It started with a flower pot of freshly baked bread with two spreads, cinnamon butter and garlic butter, it was so good. Up next, we chose the arancini balls and they were so cheesy and perfect. We also chose the Caesar salad, it was so fresh and delicious. We also chose the pepperoni pizza and Tetrazzini with chicken - the pizza was perfect but the Tetrazzini was the most delicious pasta we have ever had. We ended it with the most decadent brownies, they were so, so good. It was $69.99 for everything (our drinks were extra) we have leftovers for tonight. It was such a great deal and we will definitely be getting it again.“

“Stopped by Yeti Cafe on a Thursday morning while passing through and grabbed two vegan breakfast sandwiches.

I preordered and paid online with a 9:35 a.m. pickup time. Parking was super easy with free covered parking right across the street for up to an hour, which was a nice bonus.

Walking inside, my first thought was how cool the space is. I loved the aesthetic. It's bright, fun, and has a really great vibe. There are tables inside if you're waiting, plus outdoor seating, and the market across the street looks like a great place to wander before or after your meal.

My order wasn't ready until about 9:45, around 10 minutes later than scheduled. It wasn't a huge deal for me because I wasn't in a rush, but one of the reasons I preorder is when I'm heading somewhere on a schedule. A 10 minute delay can throw off your whole morning. They also weren't very busy, and nobody really acknowledged the delay. Nothing rude at all, just not much urgency. I'd suggest giving yourself an extra 10 to 15 minutes beyond the pickup time if you need to be somewhere.

Now for the food... wow.

The vegan breakfast sandwich was incredible. Perfectly toasted sesame bagel, vegan egg, vegan sausage, aioli, pickled onions, and just the right amount of hot sauce. The spice level was spot on for me, but if you don't like any heat, you may want to choose something else.

The only other thing worth mentioning is the price. Two breakfast bagel sandwiches came to $31 after tax, which definitely made me wince a little. I understand food costs are high right now, but it's still a pricey breakfast.

That said... I'd absolutely go back.

Even with the wait and the higher price, the food was just that good.

Overall, I'd give my experience a solid **9.5/10**. Amazing food, a really fun brand, a beautiful space, and definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.“

“If I could give 100⭐️ I would! We’ve been enjoying Grainharvest Breadhouse butter tarts for over a decade when we discovered them at a stand in St Jacob’s. Since then, they’ve been a mandatory purchase for anyone in our family who heads that way, sometimes even planning a visit there BECAUSE of their butter tarts. Definitely a must try.“

“Had a really good experience yesterday!

I walked into Fresh Burrito because I’ve ordered their birria loaded fries online before, and since I was heading home from work and that’s what I wanted, I figured I’d stop and pick it up myself. They had a sign OUTSIDE advertising the birria stuff, however, their signs INSIDE didn’t show anything with birria.
I asked the gentleman behind the counter to confirm if they did birria or not and he said they did, they just mainly advertise it online I guess.
So I asked if I could order their birria loaded fries, but because they advertise the birria online, the gentleman had to pull the price for the fries from Uber…and it came out to be over $25 for a large, which I was happy to pay since I ordered it online before. However, he said he wasn’t going to charge me that much and decreased the price for me (I wish I kept my receipt to see what he charged me exactly).
He was kind throughout the entire interaction and made sure I left happy, and I sure did!!
I would have posted photo evidence if the evidence wasn’t sitting in my stomach haha; I devoured those fries as soon as I got my hands on them.

Right in the Sportsworld plaza with easy parking and right off the highway, so it’s super convenient whether you’re running errands, coming from the gym, or heading out of town. The store is bright, spacious, and way less cramped than the mall locations. Lots of seating with big windows, so it feels open. They’ve got the usual mix of comfy chairs, tables for 2, and a couple bigger spots if you’re meeting friends. It’s clean, modern, and always smells like fresh coffee the second you walk in.

*Service*
The baristas here are the real reason I keep coming back. Fast during rush hour, friendly even when it’s busy, and they actually care about getting your order right. Mobile order pickup is seamless. I’ve had them remake a drink once because I asked for it less sweet, and they did it with a smile. They also do well with custom orders – oat milk, extra shot, light ice, whatever you need.

*Drinks + Food*
Everything you expect from Starbucks, done well. Iced coffee, lattes, cold brews are all consistent. The seasonal drinks hit here too. Food case is always stocked – breakfast sandwiches in the morning, protein boxes and pastries in the afternoon. Portions are standard but the quality is good.

1. *Parking*: So much easier than downtown or Conestoga Mall. In and out in 10 minutes.
2. *Space*: You can actually sit and work or read without feeling rushed. WiFi is solid and there are outlets.
3. *Traffic flow*: Because it’s in Sportsworld, it gets busy but never feels chaotic.

If you’re in Kitchener and want reliable coffee with great service and zero hassle, this Starbucks delivers. Great for a quick grab-and-go or to sit for an hour. I stop here at least 2-3 times a week and it’s always a good experience.“
