“Tried Topper’s Pizza Sault Ste. Marie and honestly, it didn’t disappoint. The flavors were rich, especially the sauce, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The only downside was a slightly longer wait time, but the quality made up for it. Good place if you’re craving a satisfying, filling pizza.”

“First I’d like to mention that I’ve eaten here several times and it’s outstanding. I’d continue my patronage 100%. That being said, I’m compelled to write a review this time as my most recent experience was less than average, and I was disappointed. We attended there on Saturday Aug 16th, I ordered the Halibut and the portion was small as well as overcooked, the fish was hard and tough. The stewed chick peas were tasty but didn’t complement the fish well and the tomato salad was cold making the rest of the dish cold. I appreciate the effort but it wasn’t a cohesive dish. For $45 it was not worth the price. I had the peach, mozzarella salad with coppa and again I was disappointed. Peaches weren’t grilled or sautéed, just cut up with the mozzarella and dressed with thinly sliced coppa and torn basil, and chili crisp, nothing special and again it could have used something else to be more cohesive and for $24 I was not impressed. Ice cream sundae was tasty but the again it was cut up peaches over soft serve. Drinks were good. I’ll go back again because as stated above the food is almost always impeccable but this visit was disappointing. Cheers.”

“We dined at La Anh last evening. The food was absolutely fabulous!! Staff are very much engaged and ‘executive chef’ assisted us in choosing and describing items. I definitely recommend…you will NOT be disappointed! We had chicken pad Thai noodles, salmon in fresh tomato sauce, veg spring rolls, shrimp chips, veggie pho bowl, beef pho bowl. Everything was so flavourful! We WILL be back!”

“Driving through Sault Ste Marie on our way back to Haliburton and stopped in at Fratelli’s for dinner. So damn glad we decided on this restaurant as there were quite a few to choose from.

They don’t take reservations but we were seated within 15 minutes of arriving and proceeded to order from our attentive and friendly server, Mary. Knowing we were driving for 6 1/2 hrs the next day we opted for a large pizza so we’d have leftovers. OMG! Their large pizza is MASSIVE!
The pizza itself was so good. They even had vegan cheese for us to add to the pizza which was a bonus.

Pizza was sauces to perfection (not dripping with sauce but still enough to add flavour, the additional toppings were not skipped on either.

Friends that we met ordered some pasta dishes which they loved and they were big servings too.

It was pretty quick from ordering to receiving our meal. We enjoyed our dinner and our conversation without feeling rushed. Mary even took the time to take a group pic for us on my iPhone.

Dinner for 5 was $175.00 but we had leftovers that will feed all of us for at least one more meal. Great price in my mind!!!

We plan on making a stop here each year on our way back from our Saskatchewan road trip.

And you know when you get something without meat and you forget you're the odd one out because it just tastes so...normal? Yea, if you know you know. But that's a GOOOOOD feeling. I wasn't a fan of their miso soup, but I haven't had it too much so I can't say if the issue is them or me 😂 also their matcha isn't very sweetened, so probably not the pick if you like sweet drinks.”

“My father recently passed away and loved A&W. He use to go there regularly for coffee with a group of friends. On the way to his funeral I stopped by to get a root beer to put with his memory display table. I also asked the girl for a bag to leave beside it. I then told her I needed it for his funeral service.She immediately offered me a free mug or anything else I needed to insure my Dad had all his favourite A&W things on his final journey. This heartwarming gesture made me cry , I was overwhelmed with her kindness and left with a mug to put on his display table. Had lunch in this delightful restaurant and ate the best Indian food we have had in a long time. The lamb biryanis was full of tasty chunks of lamb and was beautifully and delicately spiced. The butter chicken was extraordinary. The naan bread crisp and chewy. I really enjoyed the Indian music videos playing on the TVs. The staff were very welcoming pleasant and efficient.
