“This is my go-to place for biryani. The best I've had! Light, fluffy and delicately spiced. The food is so good and the staff are so friendly it's like my 2nd home! The gongura biryani (veg or chicken) is probably my favourite, also really like the mughlai chicken biryani.“

“Came all the way from Ottawa. This is our 2nd time. During lunch time they have Thali. All the vegetables and meat had Authentic srilankn Sinhalese taste. Portion sizes are really worth for the price. Also their hoppers and Lankan pancake is really yummy. Chai also very quality. Will definitely come next time. I especially loved the tandoori chicken and ghee roast biryani but everything we tried was spot on. The vibe of the place is just perfect too—warm, welcoming, and really nicely done without feeling over the top. It’s one of those spots you fell in love with.The moment you walk in, the space feels inviting and thoughtfully designed. The lighting was warm, the music was at just the right volume, and the whole place had a relaxed vibe. Highly recommend checking it out!“

“The vibe was really nice because of the decorations the bathrooms were relatively clean and the tables were a lot cleaner there was a fly buzzing around but I think it may not usually and it was just this time, the place is inspected professionally the there is a lot of options on the menu. They also have a separate menu for Indian Chinese (Hakka) food it is good“

“you’re craving authentic South Indian dosas, this spot in Scarborough is a must-visit. They serve some of the best dosas I’ve had in the city, with a huge variety to choose from—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done.

That said, the location and atmosphere do take away from the experience a bit. The plaza is not the best and the restaurant itself doesn’t feel very welcoming. It’s definitely more of a “go for the food” kind of place rather than for the ambiance.

Overall, highly recommended if dosa is what you’re after—just don’t expect much when it comes to the setting.“

When we called our waiter to address it, he confirmed the mistake but didn't offer to replace the dish on the house, which felt like poor service. Instead, we were asked if we wanted to reorder the correct dish, which seemed inconsiderate. Additionally, the dishes lacked enough paneer or chicken, with too much sauce instead. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but it was still hard to get the waitstaff's attention as they seemed preoccupied at the counter. “The food here is excellent. The ribs, mushkaki and mogo are yummy.
The ordering and service needs work though.
There is no clear menu for ordering over the phone it is just pictures on fb or old prices on google maps.
The person on the phone does not repeat back the order leading to mistakes.
They need to give prices as well as a final total for phone orders.
Love the restaurant and we will keep coming back but they really need to figure out a better ordering system.“

“We found Lucile's a few months ago and my family and I are addicted. They cook their jerk chicken fresh everyday on the drum pan grill (authentic tings) so you get flavour to the bone! The fried chicken is delicious, rice and peas soft and coleslaw..bay-bee , sooo good we be asking for extra lol oh and customer service is AMAZING, always treated with so much love and respect. 10 stars! My favorite jamaican cuisine hands down!
