I wanted to go the other restaurant but they were busy. And honesty I just wanted something simple to eat. This was a day in a long weekend so I had a lot of food previous days already 🥳
This humble restaurant located in a super busy plaza. It was always hard to find a parking spot here. It was a windy day but somehow the sun shined beautifully. It was a mixture of hot and cold temperature.

New Northern Dumplings offers a variety of delicious dishes, including freshly made steamed pork and celery dumplings made to order. Many enjoy both the pan-fried and steamed dumplings. The food is described as amazingly delicious, with the homemade wonton soup, steamed lamb dumplings, and lamb skewers being highlights. The eggplant with garlic and chilli peppers is also super delicious. Customers find the dumplings have homemade skin and delicious fillings, with the juicy filling bursting out. The spicy & sour soup, with sliced fresh tomato, is a local Chinese style in traditional home cooking. Fried pork and vegetables are heavy in taste. The "guo bao rou" (sweet and sour pork) is absolutely fantastic, the Northeast-style cold noodles are generously portioned, and the chive pies are simply top-notch. The restaurant is spacious and clean, making it a nice spot to grab a drink or two with friends while enjoying dumplings. The owners, Tiger and Mei, make everything super delicious.
